“The room is spacious, new and clean. The location is good if you are taking bus as the bus terminal at the upper historic town, then can just walk to lower historic town. Breakfast can pick the cafe on list and Silvia has recommended some good restaurants and pizza shops too. ”

The room is on a street that cars are not permitted to park which helped make for a very peaceful nights sleep. It was a beautiful room with a balcony, and being able to open the door for sun and fresh air was s plus. The breakfast that is included with our price was at Terrazza Scandaglia , just down the street with a view of the port. Shops, dining, and sightseeing were……

“Fabulous location and a fascinating building - highly recommend the little tour that you can take to learn about the history. The pool is lovely, as is the walking in the countryside around the abbey - other than that there's not a lot to do other than soak up the atmosphere. We stayed for two dinners and one lunch. “Loved this property. So welcoming. Home cooked food was quick and tasty. Amazing fish pasta followed by sea bass. Can't complain about that! Didn't have time to enjoy it but the pool looked amazing. Breakfast relied on a bit more processed and pre packaged pastries than I'd like. There was a good choice though and plenty to fuel us for the day. A great stopover. Remote and peaceful.”
