“Our stay at the golden pineapple was wonderful. My husband and I love to travel to new countries and hotels. This was by far the best place we have ever stayed. The drive up to the hotel does require a 4x4 vehicle. However, we did not view this as a negative. Nothing amazing comes easy! The views were spectacular and actually enticed to want to stay at the resort which says a lot as we typically prefer to leave each day. The food was great. And service was even better! “1) wrong address listed. Took me 20 minutes to figure out that the correct address was listed only in the email. Email wasn’t clear that google maps and Apple Maps was wrong. 2) no communication with the property as we were figuring out the address in the dark 3) villa booked wasn’t provided to us as their was no power in the villa which was initially booked 4) no internet provided during our stay. 5) had to figure out the water supply issue on one of the days of our stay 6) I have been trying……

“This was a very unique property for us. It's part hostel part hotel. Our room was small but was fine. The staff was super nice and gave a tour of the property. We enjoyed the bar and the pool and we were within walking distance of a fabulous dining spot. ”

“The property is tidy, clean, organized, intimate and festive. There are only 3 rooms so quaint, which is appropriate for the small town of Ballena. Our room was clean, organized and well stocked for the traveler (beach towels, umbrella, hangers, drying rack, safe, mini kitchen..). AC works well and wifi is strong. There is key code for the gate so secure at night. Scott knows the quality adventure companies too! He provides detailed instructions for check in and recommendations for dining,……
