“We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood.”

“The view from this property is amazing. The distance to town was not bad. The food in the town of Montezuma was wonderful too. Peter was a great host and we had all that we needed. “What a wonderful stay! Casa Rector was an excellent choice for our family, my brother's family and my parents. The property was well stocked with everything we needed, including life jackets for our kids. Mirabel and Arturo, the on site caretakers are INCREDIBLE! “Our family of 4 (kids 9 & 11) found ourselves privileged to be the first to stay here. The large dome was clean & well-appointed. It provides a peaceful & cozy vibe. The large shower was perfect for a luxurious rinse off after the beach, the lounger sofas were cozy for curling up with a book or listening to tunes using the Bluetooth built-in speaker, & the bed was comfortable too. We arrived to a lovely couple and their teenage daughter who live on property as care takers. They were the highlight of our trip. “This is a cute, clean home located just outside the busier street in Paquera. It is a basic home in a small town, so don't go expecting anything fancy. We stayed the night here after taking the Bioluminescent Kayak tour through Bahia Rica--only about 15 minutes away from this house. It is also very close to the Ferry that runs to Puntarenas if you are traveling to or from that area. “This property was absolutely beautiful! Looked just as it did in all the pictures. We traveled from Florida a family of 5, two 10 year olds and one 7. Cori the property manager was so helpful with setting up all our activities, everyone showed up and picked us up to take us to our tours as promised. We enjoyed brunch at the resort next to the property every morning. Even woke up to monkeys in the back yard and the macaws flying around were so neat. “We stayed at 3 properties on this trip and this is the only one I don’t think I could recommend since I didn’t really feel welcomed, condo was missing things it should have had based on the listing, poor maintenance, and water issues. AC was completely turned off and it is a second story condo so the indoor temp when we got there was in the mid-90s and took 24 hours to cool down. When you know someone is coming turn on the AC. Missing items: paper towels, dish soap, sponges, hand……
