"We loved our stay!! The location was perfect, we didn’t want to be right in the hustle and bustle but wanted to be driving distance. The beaches were so great, the tide pools amazing, pool was perfect and we sat on the veranda facing the ocean every morning and every evening. The security guards were so smiley and nice!! "What an experience! If you are looking for a change from busy all inclusive resorts this is a great option. The unit is gorgeous. Spacious with a back yard with a pool overlooking the ocean. It is in a gated community which adds to the exclusiveness of the experience. The beach which is in walking distance is gorgeous with warm water and good size waves. The property management led by Meaghan took care of all of our request. All around great experience for us. Pura Lavida!"

"Casita Del Mar was the perfect to place to stay in Tamarindo! It is literally steps from the beach and a short walk into Tamarindo. Roger and Pat were excellent hosts. The property is beautiful and very private. It is almost impossible to find something right on the beach so Casita Del Mar is a gem! "The house is modern, bright, airy and fully equipped with all amenities. Loved the morning visits by the resident monkeys. Perfect location close to private beach which has spectacular sunsets each night. Beach club is awesome and Playa Avallena is such a great, beautiful beach for surfing and boogie boarding. "We had such a fantastic time at this lovely house in Potrero that my kids still lovingly refer to as “our mansion” - we were treated like royalty for a few days by our masterful chef and lovely cleaning staff, as well as Moises, our bartender. It was very hot when we stayed, and we had a bit of trouble with the AC units, but help came promptly and everything was repaired. I give this property my highest recommendation!"

"We had a wonderful stay at the property and the area. There were 8 of us and we all had more than enough space. Mariela was very responsive any time needed. The biggest challenge was finding the house the first night as we were driving in the dark from Liberia airport and unfamiliar with the area. Waze (the only map that works in CR) led us down a very rough rural road. So if coming in from the east or northeast, make sure you go all the way to the town of Matapalo before going down the dirt...

"Beautiful property, amazing staff, specially Juan Carlos, Freddy and the ladies in the kitchen. The best breakfast we had in all CR. Too bad it is located in a town where millions of dollars are generated from the super expensive restaurants and hotels and not one penny put back into its infrastructure. Tamarindo should have the best roads, sidewalks and a sewer system. I don't think it is "charming" to walk on muddy roads, right next to trucks and noisy cars. "
