"An amazing location in the middle of a nature preserve.On one side is the historic Las Salines (the salt collecting locks) and on the otherside a natural beach with beautiful undisturbed mature trees. At sunset the view from the balcony is one of the best I have ever seen. If you want a less unobstructed view you can walk down to the back gate and see forever. I like beach preservation and true natural beauty so for me the birds, the trees, and rustling leaves mixing with waves beats any cookie-cutter constructed resort view. A short walk down the road takes you to a lighthouse overlooking one of the best small bays I have ever seen. Walk up the road and there is an observation tower with a great view. If you enjoy nature, peace, and locals with quick access to Nature Preserves, or the more tourist filled Combate Beach with all the resturants and great food this is the place. "

"The layout of the house was perfect for two families with grownish children. It was well stocked, with everything you might need, including kayaks, which we had a lot of fun taking out in the bay. We had a great time.I do think it would be good to go through the house and refresh/repair a lot of the appliances. For instance, the dishwasher was hard to close and the washer only worked on delicates."

There is a store nearby where you can get any essentials you may need, and the location itself is perfect for exploring the Southwest part of the island. Check-in was easy. The property manager met us there and showed us all around the apartment and the complex. The security guards are locals and very happy to give suggestions for food and fun things to do. Excellent stay all around. "
