Fabulous property!

Second time stay

Such a nice home away from home!
We traveled in to the Salt Lake area for our nephew’s wedding. This home provided a comfortable stay right at the foothills. We were able to have a few extended family meals (with the owner’s permission) on the patio, which was everything! Hosts Darren and Susan were very accommodating. Loved our time there!

It was a good experience except for one thing
I was searching for a wheelchair accessible location. Even though this was a basement there were 2 big steps inside. My nephew had to almost pick the wheelchair up to get my 95 year old mother in & out. So please take this home off the wheelchair accessible list.

Happy with stay
Happy with stay, very clean, check in easy. The only thing is , it wasn't obviously in the description that it was a basement. But there was no issue with it being a basement, there was plenty of room.

Perfect place to stay
Beautiful home with all the amenities for a perfect home away from home. The owners of this property have thought of everything to make the stay here comfortable and enjoyable. It’s an ideal place to stay for families with children. There is a basketball court and a shed full of outdoor games such as corn hole and croquet. There is even a binder inside the house that explains how to play all the various outdoor games provided. There is also a nice outdoor patio area with furniture and propane fire pit. Inside has a closet with board games for indoor entertainment and a small toy room with toys. Our 4 year old loved this area. The home is super close to the mountain so easily take a hike up to see the sunset and enjoy the beautiful views. Fully stocked kitchen has everything for meal prep. The large comfy couch allows for plenty of room to relax with the family and watch tv. Beds are comfy; plenty of extra blankets provided. Laundry room access is conveniently great. This was our second time to stay in this home, and we would definitely stay again.

We used this property as a base for visiting our family from Taylorsville to Payson. The house is in a friendly quiet neighborhood. We stayed in the basement of the house, but it really didn’t feel like the basement, as advertised, there are a lot of windows to let the light in. We could hear the owners walking around and the occasional pitter patter of small grandchildren, but it was negligible. We text the owners a request and literally within 10 minutes they replied and had resolved our request. It was a very enjoyable place to stay, and we would stay there again.

The property was perfect for our reason in coming to area. We visited with family in the area and was large enough to accompany the many family members that visited and had plenty of parking. It also created a private enviroment to visit. Also had ample supplies provided for a pleasant stay

Wonderful Family Home Feeling
This is wonderful space. Great bedrooms that sleep a lot of people great layout wonderful laundry room to store all of our junk and wonderful family kitchen and family room setting. As well as the outdoor deck and lawn. We loved every minute. Beautiful location. Clean. Wonderful access to the owners. They responded quickly to all of our questions and needs.

Nice Stay
The place was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable along with the sheets and pillows. The bathrooms were well stocked with towels and other needs. It was quiet and warm and we didn't hear the upstairs owners the entire stay. The showers are a little tricky if you're not familiar with them. You have to pull the spout down for the shower head to come on. That was the only hiccup in the trip.

Wonderful Getaway!
Spacious and roomy. Immaculately clean. Lots of windows and sunlight. Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay and felt right at home in the cozy, well-stocked accommodations. A definite “home-away-from-home”. Would absolutely return!

Great place for families
We loved the openness of the kitchen and great room. Darren was a great communicator. The house had great Christmas decor (we stayed in December). My 5 year old grandson loved the sleds and sledding hill.

Wonderful place!
We were travelling with a 4 year old and twin toddlers for a family wedding. The hosts were so accommodating with the two pack & plays, two high chairs, plastic kid plates, cups, and plastic utensils and toys for both age groups. We couldn't have chosen a better house. We are planning on staying there again in the future. 10 stars!!

Beautiful and welcoming!!
Our family was in town for an extended family reunion. This was perfect place for 10 of us to gather and stay close to the canyon where the reunion was happening! Close to a grocery store, welcoming. The owners were easy to communicate with and welcoming yet had every detail prepared for a delightful couple of nights in such a beautiful place!!! 5 stars for sure!!

Such an Adorable place.

Second Stay Even Better Than the First!
This was our second stay at the Sunflower Haven Retreat. We came--in part--for Pleasant Grove's Strawberry Days, and when we entered the property, the hosts had left a giant bag of Popcornopolis' Strawberries & Cream popcorn--such a thoughtful, clever gesture. This time we had my parents-in-law with us and they loved the place; in particular, my father-in-law really liked the selection of books in the bookcase! I appreciated the roominess of the place (the cozy family room is great for lounging and watching movies) as well as its orderliness and cheery décor. We needed to do laundry this go-'round, so I was grateful for the laundry facilities, too. My twelve-year-old liked the basketball hoop in the backyard. A fantastic space for families!

Everything was great. Exactly as advertised. Very clean and nicely decorated. Plenty of space for all of us. Tons of windows you would never guess this was a basement. Wonderful yard to hang out in. Welcoming to our Entire Family
We were a little worried about the distance this property was from BYU/ Provo, but it was entirely worth it. 7 adults 1 teen and a toddler throughly enjoyed our stay. They provided all the utensils, pots and appliances meet our every need and whim. The right puzzles, the right games kept my family up long after I went to bed. Lots of nice touches and little thoughtfully extras including a little covey of quail that frequented the back porch.

Perfect and super cozy!
The property was super cozy! Several in our group thought it was the best one we have ever stayed in. Very helpful stocked pantry and basic fridge items. We cooked several big meals for 8 people. Helpful touches in the bathrooms as well. The hosts were kind, helpful and very responsive. We will stay here again if available!

Large, clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed!
This was such a cute rental and even though it is a basement, it is totally separate from the upstairs. The private entrance is great and the rooms were spacious and accommodating. There was a fun kids room under the stairs and the kitchen was completely stocked with spices and cooking utensils and appliances. The owners were quick to respond and get anything we needed. Definitely the best VRBO we have ever had.

A great stay for an evermore weekend
Everything was great with the property. They really thought of every pot pan appliance and thing you could ever want in the kitchen. They even had snacks and treats out for us, which was great for the kids (and the adults). The host even did a really cool scavenger hunt for the two girls we had with us. He had them hunt and find things around the yard including an awesome beehive. Don't tell any kids a spoilers for this hunt ;-). I would definitely recommend this to anybody coming to town, as long as it's not on the same weekend I'm coming, because I will definitely be booking this again.

family friendly
This VRBO location was super family friendly. There was enough space to enjoy family spending time together. This home is on the older side, but it was lovely. The homeowners are great and were easy to communicate with. The property was also friendly for my children to run and play. They had little touches throughout the home that made it feel extra welcoming.
