"This is a beautiful hotel right near the falls. You can't beat that view, especially in the fall. The restaurant was excellent; it is "small plates" and "large plates" and has a drink of the day you can try. Live music on Thursday but I prefer the falls. There are multiple seating areas to enjoy the falls also. They give you a voucher for breakfast at two other properties, and we enjoyed going to both. Loved the tour at the glass museum and hiking in the forest. Our room was right above the restaurant and it was quiet. "

"If you've ever wondered what a British B&B feels like, don't wait: book a stay at this 200-year-old home in Honesdale, PA! From the moment you walk in through the double- entrance foyer, it feels like you have crossed the ocean without ever getting on a plane. Downstairs, you are greeted with a parlor, complete with comfortable sofas, a fireplace & an old piano. Through the living room, there are two dining rooms, each with a table set for breakfast. At the bottom of the original wood staircase is another seating area & a low shelf with a collection of teapots & matching teacups. Upstairs is a corridor with numbered rooms on each side; behind each door is a uniquely decorated bedroom & ensuite bathroom. In some rooms - like the one we had - the sink is in the bedroom & the shower & toilet in a separate room. The beds (in our room) were clean & comfortable & we both slept really well! The 3rd floor is a suite: 3 bedrooms that sharing a private sitting area & large bathroom. Oh, how I would have loved to soak in that clawfoot tub! Breakfast was included in our stay, and was plentiful and tasty: scrambled eggs, sausage patties, French toast, bagels, toast, cereals, juices, yogurts & milk were all on offer, all buffet style & eat as much as you want. The B&B manager, a lovely lady called Adrienne, lives onsite. She has established a rock river outside the dining room window, and asks each guest to paint a rock to add to it. I highly recommend this B&B!"

"We rented Hilltop Farmhouse for our 50th wedding anniversary. Or family joined us and we had a great time. I’ll start with the house - very nice inside, kitchen was fully equipped, games available to play, etc. The outdoors is stunning - leaves were just starting to change colors. There is a basketball net for the kids to play, a nice large macadam driveway for the kids to ride bikes or play ball, indoor pool which was enjoyed by everyone and at the top of the hill is the Hilltop Enchanted Forest which has 2 trails you can hike. I only have good things to say about this VRBO - owners are very easy to talk to and they are very responsive. Hopefully we will be back in a couple years to visit again. Thanks. "

"Very friendly and accommodating staff at check-in and out. Rooms quite nice and even the AC was quiet. Location behind a big truck stop not ideal, but was quieter than expected."

"The stay at the resort was very enjoyable. If you book through Orbitz, please call the property and make sure they got your reservation. They had not received ours, but fortunately had a room for us. The room was very large and clean. The whole resort needs a general make-over, as the facility is a bit dated and used (wallpapers, paints, windows, door locks, showers, etc.), but you can see that this hotel still has a lot of prestige. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with an omelette station, eggs, bacon etc. and very friendly and helpful waiters in the restaurant. Happy with our one-night stay. We would come back, should we go back to this area! "
