“We came for a graduation and enjoyed our stay at 206 Grand St this past weekend. Though it is an older building, the history is interesting, the location for us was perfect and it is a spacious, clean and comfortable place for two (and probably more). Maria is an attentive host who anticipates her guests’ needs and is very available should her guests need assistance. This apartment is a second floor walk up so may not be the best for those with disabilities or mobility issues. However there……

“George was a wonderful host. Responded quickly to my questions and when our plans changed, he was very helpful as well. Highly recommend. Beautiful location.”

“This guy is a scammer, an hour before my checkin they finally sent me the "location" and claimed they needed more time to clean the property. Then at 5 pm and hour after they claimed their was a gas leak and I couldn't stay there. Only thing is the address they sent me wasn't real and I am convinced this listing is fake in and used to trick people into staying at their actual property in yonkers. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!”

“An hour before check-in we were called by the property manager, after four days of messaging them through the app without response, to advise us that the property had an alleged water pipe burst and was unavailable, then attempted to upcharge us for alternate accommodations. An alternate place to stay was finally provided at no additional charge but much smaller than what had been booked. Given the absence of communication for four days and then a sudden incident the day of check-in - the day……

“Super fun location! Host was very helpful. The house is very comfortable for large groups ”

“We were very disappointed. Listing said no smoking.There was a sign stating that right above the ashtray. The room smelled of stale smoke and there were burn holes in the sheet. The bathrm was clean but the room was very dirty. I had to wipe down dressers before I put items on them.The rag was very dirty. I have a photo showing this. I wiped the shelf under the air conditioner and that one was black. The set up was unique. A code to get into foyer of house. Then through a curtain to your sitting……

“After flying in with four of us from Los Angeles on a Red Eye, we had to drive around for 4-5 hours until we were able to check in at 4pm, however after hours of trying to get into the property with no answer on the contact number ,we finally were able to have the local property manager come out and say that the property overbooked and had no room for us. I spent over 2 hours on the phone getting the run around by Expedia with mixed stories of our accommodations. FINALLY with now the story is……

“A very quiet cul de sac and a babbling brook in the back yard which was absolutely soothing. Street parking was tight but there was a small parking lot available close by. Beds were comfortable (pillows need upgraded though). Kitchen could use a few more plates and bowls. I cooked for 7 people. Towels (rough). A few upgrades and this place would be a five.”
