“Very welcoming hosts and they gave us good information about the Plitvick and flixbus information.
Very cosy room with good WiFi, shower.
Excellent delicious breakfast (€10), very nice dinner with good price. As the previous reviewer said, no need to go somewhere to take breakfast or dinner. (No lunch service)
45 minutes to walk to entrance 2 with ordinary pace.
The nearest flixbus station is about 12 minutes walk. We got off wrongly on entrance 1, where the taxi insisted charging €15,……

“The room is tidy, neat and decent. Tin, the only staff member of the hotel, is efficient, friendly, helpful and nice. However, the description on the website that the hotel is 12-minute walk away from Entrance 2 and 21-minute walk from Entrance 1 of the Plitvice National Park is false. It is actually far away from entrances. We had to hire a taxi (200 kuna per ride) to reach the hotel after getting off the bus, and then from hotel to Plitvice next day. Not recommended for those traveling……

“Overall great but with large tour groups we were not a high priority. A bit pricey. Staff were very friendly. A bit disorganized- asked for more pillows but never got them. Got checked into different room type than we were scheduled for. ”

“Villa Stone was amazing. Our host Mata was very accommodating and very personable. We let him know we were interested in dinner at the location and we set a time. Villa Stone has a lovely outdoor area where our host started his wood fire grill and we had the most amazing food , wine and conversation. Very relaxing. We enjoyed the double room with balcony. The room along with bathroom were very spacious and clean. Bed very comfortable It was the decor and little touches that made you feel comfy……

“Loved this place! Stayed 2 nights with my wife and had dinner there both nights as menu has many interesting choices. Zaron and his wife are both exellent cooks with gourmet flair. Got a jucuzzi suite which helped with the sore legs after hiking in Plitvice. If you want home cooking and a quiet place to relax this is it.”

“The staff was very nice and helpful and the food was delicious. My recommendation is to update the rooms and facilities to match the quality of service your employees give. They aren’t bad just old. Lots of dusk and cob webs. But great location for park! ”
