Something for everyone

Three families comprising older teenagers, 40 somethings and grandparents. The landlady was charming, flexible and made us feel very welcome. The decor very tasteful, recently updated. The weather was mixed so the covered pool/hot tub were a God send. Patio and bbq great for cocktail evenings. Two fridges great for big appetites, the house had plenty of room for all of us. Reading area, TV area, pool table hang out area and spacious kitchen grown up chat area. Fav sailing: La Trinite sur mer (10 mins) Fav surf spot: Queberon, first beach on right (10 mins) Fav walk: From the house to Etel (3/4 hours) Fav markets: Carnac and Auray Fav body boarding: Beach 5 mins from house. Fav clothes shopping and ice cream: Carnac Fav Birdwatching: Serzeau (spoonbills) Fav shells: Carnac town beach low tide! Look forward to returning in the future

Can't fault Crucano Palm Groves we were a family of 12 ranging from 11 to 72. The Villa has plenty of rooms and space with 4 bathrooms an 3 toilets. Plenty of kitchen equipment and utensils. Having wifi was a bonus. It was very clean. Pool was well used and a great size for the whole family. More than enough garden furniture. Maryvonne was a lovely host and made us feel it was our own home for the week. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

Really nice house

We had a very nice stay. The house was large, clean and well stocked with the essentials for a stay. The pool was a godsend. It is a short drive (or longish walk) from a great sandy beach, with other pleasant towns and beaches close at hand. Marie was charming, helpful and accessible. We would be very happy to stay again.

House itself was good, but we would have liked little things like more chopping boards.. Or The downstairs bedroom was meant to be en suite, but wasn’t. The house said it was wheelchair accessible but wasn’t. The shower room would have been great with some grab rails also the downstairs toilet. Made life difficult to use, but we managed with some strategically placed chairs.The garden was lovely with plenty of space for lounging and eating.

Summer Break

A fabulous property providing facilities for all weathers. The pool was a huge bonus - swimming every day. Plenty of space for children to play. The house catered for all family needs and the location is convenient and easy for travelling to the many, varied communities, towns, beaches etc. The hosts were welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. We’re keen to return!

Great property for a family holiday.

Our group consisted of 6 adults & 2 children, staying for 2 weeks in August. A perfect location to explore the many superb beaches and attractive villages of central southern Brittany. The property is large & has excellent facilities for both sunny & wet weather conditions. The swimming pool is of good size for a holiday home and its motorised sliding roof is a useful feature. It also secures the pool area, thereby preventing children from accidentally falling in, enabling them to play safely in the large, fully enclosed garden. Maryvonne, the owner, is charming, being very pleasant to deal with and promptly responded to any issues that arose. During our stay, much of France was suffering from drought conditions, so regional restrictions were put in place regarding the filling of private swimming pools. It is to Maryvonne’s credit that she located another natural source of water, so that her pool could remain usable, when others had to close. This did understandably create a temporary upset to the water balance, causing the pool to go green, but it was soon overcome. We were just appreciative of her considerable efforts to ensure that we had a superb pool for most of our stay! I have no hesitation in highly recommending this property, particularly for families. Many thanks Maryvonne for a great holiday!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub sehr genossen. Das Haus, die Terrasse und der Pool liegen dicht zusammen und boten einen einfachen Überblick über unsere Kinder. Der Zugang zum Pool konnte geschlossen werden. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr herzlich und problemlos. Einzig der schwache WLAN Zugang im Haus hat die Möglichkeit eines abendliches Disney+/Netflix Programms schwierig gemacht. Mit dem Fahrrad kommt man innerhalb von 15 min zum Strand. Leider zunächst ohne Fahrradweg, sondern auf der Strasse. Insgesamt "Daumen hoch".

Aangenaam en comfortabel huis. Ruim en gezellig. Overdekt zwembad en hottube was heerlijk voor de kinderen waardoor de enkele regendagen toch plezierig waren. Attente gastvrouw en gastheer, erg vriendelijk. We konden vroeger inchecken zonder enig probleem.
