"This is a lovely rustic one-room cabin in a beautiful location. It is off-grid, with the solar lights and wi-fi working well, and Onalee was such a lovely host - responsive, good communicator, and she followed through in every way. My arrival was delayed until after dark, and she responded by leaving a lantern on the front porch to make sure I could find the lights inside easily. Shower in the outhouse was nice and hot, the towels were laundered and replaced daily, and there is great diner 3 minutes away for breakfasts. Escape and enjoy!"

"This was an excellent stay! It was a surprising little hideaway in what I consider to be a remote place. It’s not The Four Seasons, but it is clean, safe, quiet, offering all of the things that one needs for a comfortable stay. The only thing in the room that didn’t work was the actual phone, which, if you have a cell phone, is really not a deal at all. Pretty comfortable bed, nice spacious bathroom, ample parking, and wonderful staff! Bob was so great and very helpful! And, I was so very happy that food delivery service services actively work in the area and Fred’s Inn is down the street from a pretty substantial shopping center. If you have to stay in Norwich New York, I do very much recommend Fred’s Inn."

"Such a special place! We stayed here as a family while visiting our oldest son, who attends Colgate. We loved hanging out here during the day in our downtime; it's a spacious yet cozy space and has everything you need. The rushing river at night made for perfect sleep and such an incredible view; you are literally right on the falls!"
