"The location of this home is not in a safe area. There is no driveway, so when you are walking up there are signs that say no trespassing and keep out in the window. In order to check-in, I had to call the owner who told me the key was in the mailbox. We went in to see the house and the floors were spongy. The house was very muggy and humid. We did not end up staying at this house as we did not feel comfortable or safe. "

There were a few small issues with interior doors not locking and some areas not being cleaned/vacuumed but Josh replied promptly that he will address those issues. Overall, cute house, it worked well for our family of 6."

"We were in the area to fish a Major League Fishing event on the Chowan River. The house and yard are very well maintained. The back porch has nice furniture, and a great view of the Sound. Beautiful sunsets! An added bonus was how friendly the neighbors on both sides are! Definitely plan to come back!"
