This is a good place that could have been better if a few things had been taken care of prior to our stay:- Every dish was dirty, but had been put away like it was clean.- The floors needed sweeping and mopping. You’d shower, walk around barefoot, and your feet would be dirty. Immediately walking into the kitchen meant stepping on small dirt clumps.- First floor shower had pink slime, as if it hadn’t been cleaned recently.- The upstairs shower squeaked loudly while showering, so much that we couldn’t use it. The property manager was quick to send someone out, but their fix didn’t work. A shrug was all I got.Given the shower issue, I expected some sort of compensation. I booked a two shower house, but I only got one. Oh, and I had to clean nearly every dish before I could use it. Just soured the experience.The house itself is in a great spot, walkable to the water. The location sees a lot of traffic.The house seems recently updated. The grill was in good shape, the appliances were OK, and the kitchen sink is big. Cooking in the kitchen was pretty good. The newer screened porch was a delight. Some thought went into the place. It looks nice.The beds were firm and bouncy, needing a bit more cushion. Sleeping was OK, though my whole family complained about sore hips and sides from the mattresses. I wouldn’t expect anyone over 35 to be comfortable in these beds.Overall the experience was fine but I wouldn’t stay again, and I feel like I overpaid.
