「Was a perfect stay. We were nervous of how far out from the city is was but there's a bus stop literally outside the door. We also had our own car and parking was easy. 「Pros: Wünderschöne, neu ausgebaute, geräumige und moderne Ferienwohnung mit liebevollen Details, etwas außerhalb gelegen, dafür aber sehr ruhig. Den Kindern gefiel vor allem der tolle Spielbereich in der Scheune mit Dartscheibe, Basketballkorb und Tischtennisplatte und das gemütliche Hochbett. Tolle Gastgeber, die uns sehr nett empfangen und mit zahlreichen Tipps für mögliche Aktivitäten versorgt haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder! 「Wir haben uns in dieser liebevoll eingerichteten Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles, was es für einen Ferienaufenthalt braucht, vorhanden. Die Wohnung ist bei hohen Temperaturen angenehm kühl. Bei schlechterem Wetter kann man sich gut innen aufhalten, weil alles sehr gemütlich eingerichtet ist. Im Ort gibt es Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, zum See geht es einige Höhenmeter bergab, was aber auch mit dem Rad gut machbar ist. Vielen Dank für die schöne Ferienwoche. 」

The main reason for the low review was our experience on check-in. We contacted the host on arrival at the airport. 「This was a wonderful base for exploring Munich. Grünwald is not in the city center but it is a lovely and quiet area that makes the travel time well worthwhile. It also has some good restaurant options (we love Kritamos). This apartment was perfect for our needs - it was even more spacious and nicely appointed than it seemed in the listing. The hosts were terrific - quick to respond, very welcoming and hospitable, and even offered to drive us to the tram stop with our luggage upon our departure....
