You cant find a better place to relax and enjoy the beauty’s of Italys grand landscape.
The view we had with great dinners on the balcony were amazing!

A truly lovely house with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The swimming pool is gorgeous and was enjoyed a gret deal by the whole party. Francesco is very helpful and friendly.I highly recommend staying at Meridolio!

Great place to stay
The house is beautifully located and exactly as described and on the pictures.
We were warmly welcomed by Jeannette and Francesco and the helped us to feel at home quickly.
The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities needed.

Great vacation
We had an amazing time at this gem. Everything was beyond our expectation. If you are looking for a place to rest and enjoy cooking with a bigger group, this is a great place to do so. The hosts are exceptionally nice and helpful and always easy to reach, in case you need anything.

Restful retreat
We rented this property as a family to celebrate a special birthday , when we arrived we were not disappointed with the beautiful scenery and villa which was very spacious and clean . It was just perfect for us . We enjoyed cooking and eating outside while surround by amazing views , the pool was clean and had plenty of places to relax and enjoy more scenery ! The wildlife was literally on your doorstep lizards, stick insects foxes and birds of prey amazing ! A lovely rural retreat , very rural

Amazing holiday in a wonderful house
We really loved our holiday at Meridolio. The house is so well equipped and perfect for a multi generational family. We loved exploring the local villages and the many superb restaurants. The local train station also made it easy for visits to Rome and for getting to and from the airport. Jeanette and Francesco could not have been more helpful; when our family arrived at the airport and there was no car seat for our toddler grandson somehow they found one for us and delivered it to the house within hours! Beautiful quiet relaxing getaway
Meridolio was such a treat to stay at. It was a family holiday with our young adult daughters and their friends - five young people aged between 19 and 21 - and it was perfect. Stunning views, beautiful pool, plenty of spaces for people to spread out. We love cooking and the kitchen was a joy to be in - plenty of space and really well equipped, while also giving you a fantastic view while you cook. We had a number of dramatic thunderstorms while we there and it was still possible to sit outside on the covered patio at the front of the house, and play cards, so we didn't feel cooped up. It was also a beautiful place to have breakfast in the early morning sunshine, while the balcony at the back was our favourite place to watch the stunning sunsets. We all agreed it was a 10 out of 10. Thank you Jeannette and Francesco for a wonderful holiday.

Das Anwesen hat zweifelsfrei viele Vorteile, das Haus selbst hat einen hohen Standard (und ja, eine wirklich großartige Aussicht). Die Besitzer sind freundlich und sympathisch. Aber: Wenn man uns die Wahrheit gesagt hätte, hätten wir dieses Objekt niemals gebucht!Die Beschreibung und die Fotos im Inserat entsprechen in einigen Punkten nicht der Realität:* Es wird ein ganzes Haus angeboten - doch das stimmt nicht! Die Eigentümer behalten sich im Parterre eine Wohnung & Terrasse, die man nicht nutzen kann. Ist das schlimm? Ja! Denn nur durch diese Wohnung hätte man direkten Zugang vom Haus zum Pool. So muss man das Haus verlassen und außenherum(!) zum Pool gehen. Ein steiler und unebener Weg - mühsam vor allem für Menschen, die nicht so gut zu Fuß sind.* Die Zufahrt zum Haus ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand. Und ich meine damit nicht nur die Schotterstraße, die ca. 1 km zum Haus führt (diese hat Wasserabläufe, die so tief sind, dass man mit dem Auto aufsitzt, wenn man nicht extrem langsam fährt). Die öffentliche Straße Via Fontegrotti hat schwere Schäden, tiefe Schlaglöcher; wenn es regnet, werden viele, auch größere, Steine auf die Straße gespült, was das Fahren mühsam und langsam macht. Und sie ist so schmal und auf beiden Seiten von Brombeersträuchern zugewachsen, dass man sich das Auto zerkratzt - bei jeder Fahrt. Wer sein Auto liebt, wird an dieser Straße verzweifeln.

Prachtig huis, mooi gelegen op een berg. Weg er naartoe is smal en sommige delen met kuilen. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien, is schoon en erg rustig gelegen. Zwembad ca. 2.30 diep. Op enkele kilometers ligt Poggio Mirteto, leuk plaatsje met supermarkt en restaurants

Außergewöhnliche Villa in super Lage
Zunächst möchte ich auf die freundliche Kommunikation eingehen. Die Antwort der Gastgeber bzw. zur Agentur war hervorragend. Der Besitzer des Hauses sehr charmant und die einzigartige Lage der Villa abseits dem Großstadtstress machen den Aufenthalt zu einem einzigartigen Erlebnis. Die Villa bietet ausreichend Platz und hat alles was man benötigt. Die Aussicht und der Pool absolut sehenswert. In ca. 1 Stunde ist man in Rom angekommen und weitere Städte sind sehr gut erreichbar.
Danke für die tolle Zeit in der Villa und in der schönsten Stadt der Welt Rom. Gerade in den späten Abendstunden erwacht die ewige Stadt und hinter jeder Gasse wartet ein Highlight.

Traumhaus für einen Traumurlaub
Die Beschreibung zum Haus ist sehr akkurat und die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Schlafzimmer und Bäder waren super, wie auf den Bildern. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet - es war alles da, was wir zu Acht zum Kochen und Grillen brauchten. Terrasse, Garten, Pool sind ein Traum, ebenso wie die geniale Aussicht und die Sonnenuntergänge. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und abseits - es sind ca. 1.5km Feldweg dorthin und die 8 km Straße bis zum Feldweg sind auch recht schmal. Wir fanden das klasse. Mit der Welt bleibt man, wenn man das will, über ein stabiles und "absolut okay schnelles" Internet verbunden, WLAN ist im ganzen Haus verfügbar, am Pool zum Musikhören ist es dann per 3G/4G besser. Wir haben jeden Augenblick genossen und würden jederzeit wieder in die Villa Meridolio fahren.

Heerlijk relax landelijk prachtig uitzicht
Alle faciliteiten zijn aanwezig binnen het huis. Airco tot een föhn. Een lekker welkome geschenk omdat we zo laat aan kwamen : wijn brood kaasjes en worstjes. Een heerlijk zwembad met goede natuurlijke schaduw.

Ein Sommertraum im Latium
Wir haben unsere zwei Wochen in der Villa Meridolio sehr genossen. Ein stilvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit genügend Raum für uns zwei Familien. Die vielfältig ausgestattete Küche mit sehr geräumigem Kühlschrank, tollem Kochfeld und viel Platz zum 'Arbeiten' ist bemerkenswert. Die Terrassen auf beiden Seiten des Hauses bieten immer irgendwo Schatten und der Blick nach Westen mit dem fulminanten Ausblick in die sanften Hügel des Latiums ist großartig (inkl. Sonnenuntergänge). Der große Pool ist ebenfalls ein Genuss. Die großen Eichen mit dem Segeltuch erhalten den ganzen Tag einen großen schattigen Bereich, so dass man dort immer verweilen kann - auch wenn die Tage heiß werden. Alle Zimmer sind zudem mit Mückenschutz und Klimaanlage ausgerüstet, toll. Das ganze Umfeld (Bewässerung/Pool) ist sehr gepflegt und wird unauffällig zwischenzeitlich weitergepflegt. Um zum Haus zu kommen sollte man einen langsamen(!) ersten Gang beherzigen und auch uns hat (wie in einer anderen Bewertung beschrieben) das Hundegebell aus der Umgebung morgens und abends vereinzelt gestört - vielleicht fällt es aber auch nur auf, weil ansonsten die Ruhe so vollkommen ungestört ist.
Jeanette und Francesco waren super-freundliche und sympathische Gastgeber, die jederzeit auf Anfragen schnell geantwortet haben - so soll es sein.

Entspannung pur
Bei dieser Ferienoase stimmt alles, einzig der Zuweg ist "ländlich", d.h. man sollte eine normale Bodenfreiheit beim Auto haben und auf Feldwegen fahren können. Das passt aber zur herrlichen Alleinlage des Objekts. Viel Platz, eine schöne Gartenanlage, eine hervorragende Küche und der Pool sind optimal für ein garantierte Erholungswirkung. Danke an Jeanette und Francesco, die immer schnell und kompetent sowie sehr zuvorkommend auf alle Fragen und Anliegen Antwort und Lösung bereit hatten. Wir freuen uns auf ein nächstes Mal!

Wunderbar
Sehr schönes Haus mit gigantischer Aussicht.
Das Pool ist sehr toll.Die Lage ist perfekt für Ausflüge nach Rom. Der einzigste Nachteil ist wer nachts gerne Schläft brauch Ohrenstöpsrel da nachts sehr viele Hunde bellen und um 7 Uhr der Garten gegossen wird. Mit einem Geländefähigen Auto kommt man auch gut durch die sehr engen Straßen.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt
Sehr sauberes, geräumiges und gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus. Insbesondere auch die Küche liegt größen- und ausstattungsmäßig deutlich über dem von uns bisher erfahrenen italienischen Standard. Die Klimaanlagen sind im heißen August wirklich was wert.
Tolle Aussicht, sehr freundliche Besitzer, schöner Pool, der regelmäßig gereinigt wird (die Poolfliesen müssten allerdings irgendwann mal erneuert werden - das tut dem Badespaß allerdings keinen Abbruch).
Das Haus ist trotz der Anfahrtsbeschreibung nicht ganz leicht zu finden, der Pfad dorthin sehr eng und mit einem größeren Auto ist Vorsicht bzw. Rangierarbeit geboten.
Alles in allem mit das schönste Ferienhaus, das wir bisher in Italien hatten.

Fantastic villa, relaxing stay and fantastic hosts
Villa Meridolio is hands down the best property we've stayed in and undoubtedly made our holiday! The property was spacious and rustic and had some fantastic views from every window or balcony. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. The pool area was absolutely incredible, with breathtaking views. The local towns were good, but do seem to close for an extended period over lunch. But we were lucky to be able to go back to such a beautiful villa! Jeannette and Francesco were very welcoming and friendly. If we could suggest something to improve, it would the tourist information which could be a little bit more comprehensive.

Wonderful house with spectacular views
We had a great week at Meridolio. The hosts are super friendly and easy to communicate with. Everything was well organized and very clean and we were impressed by the well equipped kitchen. It’s very private but at the same time close to everything such as stores, restaurants, Rome and more. We can highly recommend a week or two here.
