The Lane Retreat is an incredible experience, and has become our go-to stay in the Hunter Valley. It's incredibly peaceful, with gorgeous views over the vineyard. Easy to find, and well located within a short drive of many restaurants and wineries. Thoroughly recommend!

Value for money compared to most other places I've stayed in the Hunter. The Lane Retreat is at the upper end, however the provided breakfasts, the view overlooking the ranges and vineyards, and the ease of a receptionless checkin, makes this the go-to for our future stays.

The perfect getaway when you need so peace and quiet or some quality time with family and friends. Perfect for sunrise and sunset watching alongside a picnic! Easy check in and check out. Everything about my stay at The Lane Retreat was top-notch! The room service, cleanliness, room space, and hotel location were all fantastic. The only small issue I had was with the Wi-Fi password — I couldn’t find it anywhere. It might have been provided somewhere; I just couldn’t locate it. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone!

Very lovely place to stay in the Hunter Valley

Very nice room with Kangaroos and wallabies jumping by! Many beautiful birds too. Very close to the wineries and excellent dining options.
