Spam ! Don’t book this place ! Shame to owner !

Please do not book spam !!!! When we called him we’re on our way how to find the home he told us the apartment is not available ! And we forced to plan to book new accommodation, and it’s ruined our day on our family vacation ! I tried to take refound from hotels.com he’s not answering to management emails !!!! Just to not to give feedback and refund ! What a horrible owner shame !!!!!

Polizzi Generosa er en skøn by med fantastiske folk. Alle meget venlige og hjælpsomme, vi fik brug for det, da vi var stillet p-plads til rådighed, det er der så ikke. Værten forstår og taler ikke tysk eller engelsk, men vi fandt alternativ måde at kommunikere på.

Mooie B&B in gezellig dorp.

Voor de 2e keer gelogeerd in deze b&b. Fijne plek om te verblijven, dichtbij onze familie. Comfortabele kamer en erg schoon. Eigenaren zeer vriendelijk. Komen hier zeker terug!

Bella vecchia casa. Per colazione c'erano biscotti, torte e pane bianco, ma il padrone preparava caffè fresco e latte riscaldato. Era piacevolmente serio e discreto. Non le solite chiacchiere.

Very nice owners, beautiful XV century building

Polizzi Generosa, where the B&B is located, is a small town, 90 km away from Palermo, in a medieval city on the top of one of the hills. If you want to experience real Sicily, this is the place to go. It is up in the mountains and the GPS is confused, so better set it up for Piazza dei Medici than for the actual hotel address. We did not have that wisdom and ended up in a street that was too narrow for our car. It costed us some serious scratches, but the locals were all trying to help us out. The owners of our B&B were incredibly warm and open. They fed us local specialties (home made sweets made from figs, home made goat cheese and jams). We had no idea the place was so far from Palermo and on the top of a hill, but we loved that experience and would not mind to go there again. It is great for hiking and resting away from touristic sides.

Convenient and homely

This is a lovely, homely B&B in the centre of Polizzi Generosa. The owners were welcoming and wanted to help in any way they could. It was very convenient for us for our hiking expeditions into the Madonie mountains. Parking nearby is difficult - we used the town car park and took the 10 minute walk to the hotel rather than battle through the one-way system and narrow streets in our hire car. As for value-for-money, I would say it was extremely expensive for what it was.

Ottima struttura al centro della città

. Con mia moglie, abbiamo soggiornato in questo B & B per un a settimana dopo Ferragosto. Ho scelto questa struttura per le ottime recensioni di chi vi ha soggiornato e abbiamo potuto constatare che la realtà ha superato le aspettative. Molto bella e spaziosa la camera che ci hanno riservato, con esposizione sul giardino interno, arredata con gusto con mobili antichi restaurati, nulla è stato lasciato al caso da parte dei proprietari, sempre alla ricerca di mobili particolari. Molto curata la pulizia della stanza e del bagno, con la biancheria pulitissima regolarmente sostituita ad ogni utilizzo. Gentilissimi e veramente straordinari i padroni di casa Sig.ra Sissi e Sig. Filippo, con i quali siamo subito entrati in confidenza sin dall’arrivo, che sino sono messi a ns. disposizione ben consigliandoci nelle nostre scelte e nei luoghi da visitare, ci siamo sentiti come a casa nostra. Ottima la colazione che ci veniva servita con ottimo pane casereccio, marmellate fatte dalla Sig. Sissi, biscotti tipici del luogo, cornetti. ecc.., un momento per scambiare quattro chiacchere con i proprietari prima di uscire per le nostre escursioni. Quando siamo partiti ci hanno offerto alcuni ortaggi del loro giardino, piantine aromatiche e piantine ornamentali da trapiantare. Avremo sempre un ottimo ricordo della Sig.ra Sissi e del marito Filippo che ci auguriamo di incotrarre se verranno dalle nostre parti..
