"Excellent place to get away for rest, relaxation, peace, and quiet! Loved being outdoors taking in the one-of-a-kind views; sunrise and the low lying clouds fogging over the lake… just breathtaking! Insects were a bit of an issue, but you are in surrounded in nature; so be sure to take OFF or Fogger type spray. We were not prepared to hike, but will be the next time we stay there. Will need to have appropriate footwear and hiking type clothing as there are a lot of vines, bushes, trees and overgrowth. It’s the forest and nature at its best! Loved the rugged industrial feel of the cabin; very homey. Provided the basic standard amenities for 2 people for a couple of nights; will need to take your own additional towels (only provide the 2 sets) as there is no washer/dryer for this particular property (who wants to do laundry when on extended vacation). Great and thorough communication from the owner; very nice! Highly recommend this little hidden gem!"
