Rustic and beautiful, but disappointingly tired

The location is amazing and the outdoor space we loved, inside small changes would have made a big difference, like towels that didn’t look like they’d been used for cleaning floors, new toilet brushes and shower heads. The house was clean but really could have done with a little tlc. The wasps in the pool were a pain as there were so many, but they aren’t interested in people just the water so once you get over that it’s fine to swim. It would have been really nice to have some sort of welcome pack, with details about the house and location. We did have a nice break but for the price paid I was a little disappointed.
