Get away from the tourists

Good classic hotel at a quiet location. Great garden and pool, we only went to the beach morning and evening. The food was amazing, we had half board and didn’t regret it.

Nestled away at the top of the island - this classic hotel has everything you could want. A number of restaurants spa pools tennis and access to beach. Gardens are a real plus - great to wander thru and down to pool spa or beach. Service was really good - in all departments - Rooms spacious nice views of bay - Classic hotel style to match

Great location but a little remote if you prefer to a greater choice of better value restaurants etc. Food and drink on site is very expensive compared to the best available in the nearest town, Porto Pollena. Taxi fare to and from the town is 22 Euro (July 2019).

Die Hotelanlage ist ein Traum! Der Garten,der Blick ! Wunderbar! Leider war unser Zimmer war super alt und sehr,sehr klein ! Auch wenn wir die unterste Kategorie gebucht haben, habe ich für 550 Euro die Nacht mehr erwartet . Das Personal war ,ob beim Frühstück oder an der Rezeption sehr desinteressiert ,unfreundlich und unpersönlich. Mindestens 3 mal hat unsere Zimmerkarte nicht funktioniert, sodass wir immer wieder an die Rezeption mussten zum neu kodieren. Das Gleiche war zweimal um vom Strand in den Hotelbereich zurückzukommen, wir mussten immer andere Gäste bitten, uns zu öffnen. Wir waren kurz vorher in einem anderen 5 Sterne Hotel und hatten so den direkten Vergleich . Wir werden in das Hotel Formentor nicht nochmal reisen.

The views are amazing, and there is a lovely relaxed feel to the hotel. It is smart but not pretentious. It's not cheap; a pizza or a salad for lunch costs around 18 euros, and you have to pay for loungers and shade on the beach (60 euros for a day under a cabana with a double, comfy, padded wicker bed). Watersports are also extra. We opted for the half board option, and thought that the food and selection at breakfast and dinner was excellent.

Lovely setting in beautiful gardens with views over the Med. Room was good but ac unit was directly over the headboard discharging on our heads which made it difficult to sleep. Breakfast was very good. Evening buffet was expensive and the a la cartel menu had a very limited choice.

La atencion del personal es muy buena. El entorno es precioso con sus jardines , playa y su Piscina a 27 grados El buffet de los desayunos propone buenas variedades de productos. Los puntos a mejorar en mi opinion : Por la noche , el precio de 50 euros por persona y de 25 para niño me parecio un pelin caro por lo que tuvimos en el buffet... no sirven comidas de 16 hasta 18. El mobiliario de las habitaciones y del hotel estan ya obseletos...una reforma seria ya bienvenida para poder atraer y fidelizar a los clientes residentes. 5 ⭐ para el entorno y la atencion 3⭐ por las habitaciones 4⭐ buffet
