We will miss the view and sunrise from the double bedroom.

Lovely villa. Setting is stunning and we enjoyed swimming with the spectacular views. The 20minute walk to town suited us as the peace and quiet of the villa is heaven. We will miss the view and sunrise from the double bedroom. Thank you Dickinson Villas.

Tolle Unterkunft

Tolle Unterkunft! Außenbereich mit Pool war der Hammer. Check In war etwas blöd, da wir den Code für das Schloss erst nach gesondertem CheckIn auf der Anbieter Seite bekommen haben. Das Innere der wirkt etwas alt aber dennoch gut ausgestattet. Abunzu ist die Sicherung ausgefallen, da 3 Klimaanlagen Waschmaschine und Lichter an waren. Ich würde mir eventuell eine Ausschilderung zur Benutzung des Herdes wünschen.

Disappointing - would not recommend!

Clearly this Villa is very old with little or no maintenance, very unpleasant smell -damp/musty. The spiral stairway to mezzanine bedroom has very narrow foot treads which I considered ‘an accident waiting to happen’ extreme care was needed! The bath in need of replacing as are the oven & dishwasher (did not clean dishes) The beds were not at all comfortable, however the bedding / towels were clean. Glassware in need of replacing due to being through the dishwasher many times they did not look clean. Basic items hand soap/toilet rolls not provided! While there a storm came through which resulted in us mopping up significant pools of water coming in through the ceilings! Dismayed to find no batteries in the smoke alarm! The outdoor area was very nice, the pool was lovely - very clean, although more cushions for the outdoor furniture is needed as is table cover / placemats for ease of cleaning. This was not a pleasant villa in which to spend a holiday , thankfully we had nice weather so no need to spend any time indoors. We were glad of the AC, which was very effective.

Et slidt hus.

Huset ligge godt og det er flot udvendig. Det ene værelse er meget fugtig og er ikke til at sove i. Strømmen går når flere el. Apparater bruges. Hele huset lugtede af fugt. Sengene var i meget dårlig stand. Huset ligger et meget smukt sted og det er flot med bjerget på den ene side. Opgrader huset og vi vil igen leje det.

A lovely villa in a quiet location. Good facilities, but can be very cold. Pool is unheated & V cold

A beautiful looking villa & very quiet. Nicely designed interior - but the spiral staircase can be a challenge as the bathroom is downstairs. Not really suitable for anyone with small children or elderly people with disabilities. The garden is really lovely and is surrounded by fields & paddocks. Taxis found the villa easily, so there is no need to walk or drive into town. They are also very reasonable - between €6-7 each way. The town is very nice and is a great location as a base from which to explore the island. Highly recommended.

schimmelige Wände und schmuddelig

Die Lage des Hauses ist gut und es gibt einen schönen Blick. Das ganze Haus ist aber sehr heruntergekommen: veraltete, korrodierte Armaturen - hier wurde lange nichts erneuert. Wir waren nur froh, dass wir als Paar Urlaub gemacht haben, weil das Erdgeschoss-Schlafzimmer komplett veschimmelte Wände hatte und dementsprechend gerochen hat - unmöglich, dort zu schlafen. Die andere Schlafmöglichkeit ist nur über eine 50 cm breite Spindeltreppe nach oben zu erreichen - nicht sehr angenehm, wenn das Bad unten ist..... Wir sind nicht pingelig, aber wohlgefühlt haben wir uns nicht sehr in diesem Haus - schade !

A stunning location

We had a very relaxing stay, the villa is peaceful and it was great to have our own pool. We barbecued most nights, easy to use. The grounds are beautiful as is the mountain scenery, stunning. There are a few things which need maintaining to ensure everything worked well. We enjoyed our stay very much.
