“House is just south of Riggins, on the river. Very clean, very nice stay, great hosts. Liked everything about the house. Did not like that it’s within feet of a busy highway and across the road from a rock crushing outfit. It’s not quiet-ever. There is a privacy fence across the front separating the house from the highway, but no gate. Pets need to be on a leash or very well trained because the traffic is busy and fast. “The house is nice and views of valley are very good. Exterior of house and grounds are not well maintained. When we arrived, the cleaning was incomplete; bed did not have a top sheet, lipstick on pillow, bath mat was laying on bedroom floor, outside garbage was overfull and remained that way for the whole stay. In spite of that, it was an nice place to stay, certainly better than a hotel room. Beds are just OK. I would stay here again, but I was pretty disappointed in the housekeeping.”
