「This is an absolute haven of tranquility and you don’t expect a lodge like that while driving down the East coast of Raiatea. The garden is stunning and you can read about all the plants. By the small beach is a lily pond and the hillside is a jungle of the most amazing vegetation. I was greeted very warmly and shown around, there is a beautiful communal area with a kitchen that is fully stocked and then you have little spaces in and outside of the fridge for the things you buy for yourself....

「This was a great spot for us to stay close to volcanoes national park. We stayed in the pahoe’hoe and a’a rooms which are situated adjacent to one another with separate keys. For our family, this worked out well as our two boys (12 and 16) had their own space with their own bathroom and we had a separate space with our own bathroom. 「We loved our stay at the Volcano lodge! It was very peaceful, the jacuzzi was a nice place to relax at the end of the evening.
