“I know, I too was skeptical about ALL of the 5-star ratings for Post Office Ranch, but my 15yr old daughter and I stayed there for a week during our ski trip to Monarch Mountain. I will tell you that it is NOT a 5-star hotel, but rather a 5-star EXPERIENCE! I couldn't have picked a better place to stay! Cabin is nicely located among some ranches/farms with good privacy and away from roads. Saw deer and elk from the cabin most days. Excellent place for a low-key reunion with friends. For us it was located just far enough out of town to get away from the congestion and noise but close enough to drive in for groceries or a nice dinner without much hassle. “We stayed in a cliffside room. I thought when I made the reservation that it said there were 2 queen beds but they were fulls. There were dead bugs inside the sliding glass door. I dropped my earbuds and had to get down on the floor to retrieve them from underneath the night side table. The door that was between rooms was flimsy and we could hear everything that the other guests said until very late at night. We had to tirn the fan on high to drown out the noise so we could sleep. “Pool and hot tub brought us here, it was nice to have after a long travel day. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Coffee and breakfast was a nice perk. We had a room on the second floor, it was clean quiet and cozy. Only thing I didn't love was the shower, drain was very slow and pressure wasn't good. Overall I would go back👍”
