We visited Great Sand Dunes and stayed in Salida on our way back to Denver. It was a perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful aspens that were in full peak colors. Salida is a great mountain town. Our suite at the Palace Hotel was perfect. Beds were super comfy!

Beautiful Salida Gem!

We stayed here for a girls trip and this suite was just incredible. Beautiful, clean, light-filled space, great views of the mountains, really comfy beds. Location is incredible right by the river and all the cute ships and restaurants downtown. The Palace Hotel is iconic and so thankful we are able to stay here still!

Very much enjoyed our stay! Location was perfect and accommodations were very comfortable. Just a heads up that there are only stairs and the climb to the 3rd floor with luggage should be considered. Definitely would stay at this property again!

Super cute, modern condo in the perfect downtown Salida downtown. The condo was great for my daughter and I. It is right next to the Boat House restaurant and walkable to everything which is what we were after. We only stayed one night but it seemed to be well equipped. There was a little noise from people outside in the evening which may be an issue for some so this might not be the right location for everyone. I appreciated the updated styling of the room and it was nice and bright.

Beautiful And Great Location.

Adorable, spacious apartment with phenomenal downtown location. Close to the river, park, restaurants and shopping. Salida is a gem of a town. Not an issue for us, but it is located on 3rd floor and I don’t believe.there is an elevator. Stairs are quite wide and spacious.

Lovely downtown Salida stay

Great stay. Beds were comfortable. Nicely decorated. We appreciated the complimentary coffee, we drank it all! Dishes were super cute. We even used the deck of cards! We will recommend to friends. Loved the communication before we arrived, very complete. We enjoyed being able to walk to both dinner and breakfast.

Great location!

We loved the location of this cute 2 bedroom. It was walking distance to all of the great spots downtown. What we weren’t prepared for was that we would need to shark for street parking on a busy Saturday night. Which wouldn’t have been bad except we were a tired group of skiers ready for bed! We would definitely come back when we are not in town to ski! Hosts were great with communication.

Great location, nice unit.

It wasn’t clear that it was a third floor walk up, but it was nicely appointed and clean. It’s also right downtown and we could walk everywhere, so that was great. I did leave something behind and while it was ultimately shipped to me, it was frustrating that it took a few days and multiple calls before someone went to look for it for me.

Pleasant stay

Super convenient along main street and within a block of the river and downtown park (and most importantly, the Boathouse Cantina). Room setup was great for us with two adults and two school age kids. TV worked well and allowed streaming from our home streaming services that logs out automatically on checkout. Only things to be aware of are that it's a third floor walk up and the bathtub has a high lip to climb over. Could be an issue for folks with mobility issues, but no problem for us. Will be back!

Darling, well-located place!

We loved staying in this darling apartment. The decor is outstanding, it is in the best possible location in town, and it was just wonderful being surrounded by the history of Salida. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting this cute little town!
