“We enjoyed our stay at the Riverside Point Resort House! We were in town for a family wedding and it worked out great! It was nice that we could all comfortably stay in the same home and gave gathering space for games and relaxing in between the wedding festivities.”

“This property was just what we were looking for with 13 adults and a new grandchild. The large common areas upstairs and downstairs gave us plenty of room to gather, and the large bedrooms gave everyone a comfortable space of their own. The kitchen was very well-stocked with tools and the little things in the pantry you forget to bring on vacation. There was plenty of comfortable seating (and a great hot tub) on the patio to enjoy time together outside, too. The Weber and Blackstone grill……

“We had a wonderful time walking to shops and visited a brewery in downtown Detroit Lakes. We originally intended to cross-country ski the area, but with no snow and unseasonably warm weather, we involved Plan B with family and simply hung out together. The house was extremely comfortable, well stocked, and exceeded our expectations. Great neighborhood, and great host.”

“Beautiful home. We had 8 adults and 3 kids. Nice home to gather but if unable to do steps probably not for you as the kitchen is on second floor. We were there in the winter and enjoyed our stay, Easy check in and communication great with host. If going in summer not a place with kids as have to cross a highway to get to water and no beach area. As far as adults and a place to get together a great place.”

“Great communication with the host! Such a cute place! It would be a good place for a girls getaway or bachelorette party the way it’s decorated. Very convenient location, within walking distance to the lake, Zorbaz, or the brewery.”

“My family takes a yearly vacation up in this area for snowmobiling and ice fishing. We usually stay at a different VRBO but we opted to try this place this year because it was a better price and a larger house. I contacted the host a day before arrival to see if we would be able to get in any sooner than 4PM since we were traveling quite a distance and wanted to time our arrival correctly. I was told that any sooner that 3PM would incur a half day charge. We arrived at 3:30. I notified the host……

We enjoyed all its features including spectacular views through huge windows, a fully stocked kitchen, the convenient layout, cleanliness, convenience to the town. The theater was a particular highlight for everyone. This place has it all.”

“This was a new location for us for our annual lake vacation with family (Our grown children and grandchildren) and it was a perfect fit. So many things to do and a large enough property for us to spread out and do different activities. Amy was amazing and left us a welcome gift basket for our arrival. “Cabin is much larger and better laid out than the pictures show. You have a perfect picture window view of the lake, and plenty of water toys at the beach. Just great!”

“Love this Island getaway. We rented our own pontoon from R&R rentals. Paddle boards and kayaks are provided from renters. Comfy beds, pantry full of essentials and spices. You really just need to bring food, beverages and clothes. Internet was good and I was able to work half days. Loved sauna and fire pit. Wonderful memories nade with our kids and grandchildren. Fishing was great! We will be back.”
