“We enjoyed our beach Christmas. We loved walking over to the 2 cafes. Plenty of blankets to snuggle in at night. Plenty of dining options even in the off season. Easy to get to by Uber or ferry, there is also a bus but the construction on the bridge means the stop is far away. For Uber, make sure you look at google maps so you can get from the street to the house easily. Once you’ve done it it’s easy but the first time in the dark can be fun! There is a local airport however there only……

“Booked a studio apartment last minute for 3 nights. Smart hotel, good security. Very friendly staff. Lovely pools as well as an indoor pool. Comfortable outdoor area. Spacious well equipped room, we did end up in a disabled room despite full fitness! Did feel if you were disabled there was only a shower over the bath which was quite high to get into, not a problem for us though. Had a nice meal in the lovely restaurant. Good parking. ”

“This property is well worth a visit , very quiet and well looked after . A few bars and restaurants within a 5 - 10 mins walk. We did not have a car but easily used Uber into Albufeira and only paid approx 5 euros. Would definately stay here again especially early and late in season as its lovely and peaceful .”

“Loction: nothing really around the hotel, so you really need a car if you stay in this hotel. Hotel facilities: The hotel has really nice pools, my kids love the kids pools very much but the water was way too cold ( We were there at end of June). Service: We need to pay 1 euro for each beach towel we borrow from the hotel, also need to pay 10 euros for the security safe in our room. For how nice the Portuguese are, the hotel receptions are really not that nice and friendly. There was only one……

“Buffet breakfast was excellent and convenient. Room was spacious and overlooked a huge pool. Location was good and walkable down to the beach where there were lots of activity for shopping and dining. Highly recommend. ”

“Had a really good time there with my family. I actually booked another hotel in Sagres, but with much smaller space and poorer infrastructure. So I cancelled that one, and drove back again to Balaia hotel. Again the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There was also an indoor swimming pool nearby. Hotel staff was nice and helpful. Not to mention that the price is so attractive. Definitely worth it.”
