"We stayed here for one night. The hotel only has 3 suites. The room was incredibly well appointed, modern, and spotless. The room has a little private patio with outdoor furniture and a beautiful view of the harbor and sea. There is a ladder access to the sea which is convenient and a small spa on a balcony above the sea. The staff was very nice (even with limited English) and most helpful to organize transfers. Breakfast was served on the terrace and delicious."

"First we need to give the family (staff) that runs this fantastic hotel 10 stars, 5 stars just not enough. Super helpful in recommending many restaurants, a winery tour, where to park, etc. Also went above and beyond helping us sort out an issue with a Viator boat trip we wanted to cancel. They pepared fantastic breakfasts. Wonderful, fun people we are glad to have met. The room spotless, bed comfortable, bathroom excellent!"

"The room was absolutely beautiful and the terrace with the hot tub, outdoor shower and lounge furniture were fantastic! The location was perfect - walkable to everywhere and 2 very short blocks to the main cobblestone street with all the restaurants. The included breakfast was generous and delicious and the spa facility was great, complete with stone vaulted ceilings, robes and slippers. The “cold” shower wasn’t cold enough for a cold plunge effect but wonderful anyway. The sauna and steam were clean with color effects you could choose and the spa pool with jets was a perfect tepid temperature after the hot sauna and steam. The only drawback was the street corner, where this is hotel is located, seems to be a local hangout for a group of teens who were very loud and wouldn’t disperse until 1:30am every night we were there (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). Maybe the weeknights are different. I would love to stay here again, but will be asking if they figured out how to manage these noise issues. When we complained at checkout, they said that they have a private security but we didn’t see or hear any evidence of one. This is the reason for 4 rather than 5 stars."

"Spectacular setting with beautiful outdoor oceanside terrace and bar! This is the main reason for positive rating despite problems listed below. Several shortcomings with the rooms. AC did not work and was not repaired despite bringing this to management twice during our stay. We had to leave windows open and woke up each morning with mosquito bites. Room layout is odd, with the shower and sink next to the bed and separate smaller room for toilet. No exhaust fan in room/bathroom. Problems with non-functioning room lighting. No prices on in-room wine bottles for minibar. Obviously, you'd like to know before opening a bottle. This is a B & B with limited staff on site presence. Also, staff had surprisingly limited English language skills. Staff however was friendly and pleasant. Seems to be family run. Staff lacks hospitality training and language skills that one would expect at this price point or what one would routinely experience at a quality hotel."
