When we checked in, we were told that we would be able to park right outside the room, but when we walked round to the room, there were concrete blocks preventing us from leaving the road to park outside the room. So, we parked in the road whilst we emptied the car. Downstairs was a seating area, and the toilet right off this area, which we thought a bit strange. If the toilet was used, then the consequences of the use would fill the seating...

"We had a lovely overnight stay at the hotel. All the staff we met were exceptional - friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The loss of one star is due to the weird room configuration. The ensuite in room 107 was at the far end of the room and had a shower and washbasin, the lavatory was by the entrance to the room but did not have a washbasin in it, which meant that after using the loo you had to walk across the room to wash your hands - fine during the day, but a nuisance if you need to go at night."
