Gun opener deer hunt
I was glad to see outside improvements of cement driveway, garage, outdoor fire pit with lots of firewood. Looked like a new propane four burner grill and a kettle charcoal barbecue. Due to long hours out in the field hunting, we enjoyed indoor full kitchen amenities, comfortable clean beds, and updated TV Service. I even recorded a Hallmark while guys watched a program they wanted. Back to kitchen… the two frying pans were new and nonstick. I forgot to pack the mustard and ketchup, but there was left behinds available to use. The washer and dryer is a plus when hunting warm weather and needing to keep scent free. Liked the covered side porch to air out our clothes and boots. The freezer quickly froze our processed venison. Everything worked fine with plenty of hot water. Other than a rubber spatula I could not find…we needed nothing. We liked the quiet residential neighborhood with no traffic. The owner immediately got back to us when we inquired about the location of an extra key.

Awsome cottage for family vacation!
Sea Breeze Cottage is our annual go to place for the entire family. The cottage is exceptional! It is very clean, roomy, and the amenities make life very convenient. Close to the beach and town. So nice to be able to walk into town and the beach, and end the evening with camp fire in the back yard. Already looking forward to next year.

Everything was perfect!
Loved the quiet neighborhood. The rooms were spacious and clean. There were plenty of towels and we had everything we needed including paper products, soaps, etc. I appreciated being able to bring our dogs.The location was great for walking to town for the Farmer’s Market and Porch Fest.

Spacious two bedroom home getaway
We love the spacious kitchen with full fridge for processing and freezing our venison. Love relaxing around the TV in the evening and enjoy our comfortable beds.

Great Michigan Get-away!
This property was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. There was plenty of room for the 2 of us and our 2 dogs. The huge deck and porch were lovely bonus spaces and the neighborhood is quiet with just a very short walk to the beach and downtown. The cottage was just as advertised. We had a wonderful time!

Daughter's 30th birthday
Daughter wanted to stay at a place that was pet friendly along with being near beaches and hiking. She likes the small town atmosphere along with an up north feel. It was her 30th birthday and she was quite pleased

Deer camp week
We found nothing wanting. The kitchen was open and spacious for meal making and preparing venison. The fridge quickly froze our venison. We liked the large screen TV with comfortable couches to relax in the evening. Beds were comfortable and had plenty of hot water for showers. Washer and dryer was greatly appreciated, even had a dishwasher. Had a space heater newly installed, in case of power loss, to heat the house. There is ample parking by the side door with a covered porch.

We had a great time. Saw many interesting things while touring around. As far as cleanliness, big fail. Spent first 1 1/2 cleaning. Bathroom was very gross, dirty microwave, poured 3 pots of water through the coffee pot before water was clear, coffee table and kitchen table sticky and dirty. Whoever is cleaning this cottage, is not cleaning. My best friend came with me. We both have made our living cleaning cottages as well as year round homes. I would be embarrassed to leave anyone’s home in that condition.

2021 Summer Trip
Had another great trip to Port Austin. This location is perfect as it is close to the beach and only a quick walk into town. Guest Host had everything in the cottage that we forgot while planning. Very clean and easy process of checking in and out.

Wonderful family vacation.

Location was close to Lake Huron and the local businesses. Property Owner was easy to contact. Rented the location for a funeral. Property owner was nice and told us we could check in anytime the first day and said we could check out later if need be. Great experience!!!

This property was wonderful! Clean, inviting and had everything we could need! We want to come back in the summer when Port Austin is more open and we can go to the beach and this is the place we will stay! House has spacious and open living room, kitchen and dining area with high ceiling in all rooms. We liked the large dining table. Cooked all our meals on a normal size gas stove. There was a lot of working counter space in kitchen and well equipped kitchen cupboards. Large refrigerator was updated and quickly froze our processed venison. After an all day hunt we enjoyed the two comfortable couches in front of the flatscreen TV. Beds had electric mattress heaters. Everyone enjoyed that large showerhead in the tub shower. We were able to air out our hunting jackets and pants on large covered porch and used the large deck in the back for dressing up and putting on our boots. It was convenient to use the washer and dryer provided when some outer hunting garments got soiled. Our week stay was like being in our own comfortable home.
