Bring your boat! There is a community boat launch and numerous parks for your relaxation and enjoyment. The fishing in the area is excellent. If you venture through the community lock by boat, you have full access to the Myakka River, Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico.

The area has over 30 golf courses nearby, enjoy miles and miles of our pristine local area beaches, there are islands to explore, cruising, fishing, swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving, boat rentals, fishing charters, bars, restaurants, hotels, state parks, hiking trails, and unlimited amounts of sun!
