“Wicked awesome!”

“The quaint “renovated” cabin I booked (accordingly to the pictures) was not at all what I arrived to. Not even the “cabin” I booked, instead, walked into a room at the crack house complete with multiple cars sans any license plates and broken glass everywhere. Clearly a transient housing authority trying to rip off good people. Would love to show pics of expectations vs reality. Communication was good at 1st stating I would get a full refund and then crickets… my husband and I, literally, got……

“The location was a 10 minute drive from Boothbay and the rooms were newly renovated and very cute. But some of the furniture was coming apart during normal use. Biggest concerns were as follows:1. Very poor communication from host. They didn't provide us with entry information until the morning of, and didn't answer our messages. We ended up calling VRBO the night before as we were scared from the lack of contact. They got ahold of the host who finally answered us the night before arrival. At……

“The cottage was great but the check-in was very stressful. Owner did not send email with info until Saturday morning and it went to my Spam folder. No one was on site when I first got there but someone working in the garden got hold of the owner and let me in. Website says check-in was after 3PM but owner said it was 5PM. Needs to update that on website. After a10-hour drive I was not happy.”
