We were not told hat we will not be able to use the bathtub before we got there. There was no dstv in the bedroom. I felt that I paid full price, but I could not use some of the ammenities and that is what was disappointing to me. In future warn your customers in advance so that they can choose if they want to go or not. We left a day early and made alternative arrangements.

Outdoor Adventurers

Nice environment surrounded by nature. Security is very good however they need to ease up in the charges that are not clearly outlined when booking accommodation. It was surprising, the amounts you need to pay for the TV remote and ironing facilities when checking in as well as the rate you pay for a 2 hour visit by a local friend 🙄 R85 just to be inside the premises wiiybo. Overall nice place for family outing.

Poor, not as advertised, better places available!

The chalets are very dated. Shower over the bath leaked like a broken firehydrant, no aircon and the ceiling fan was loud and rickety. TV channel choice poor, wall heater broken, wall socket by the bed damaged, the bed only fit for a backpackers dormitory. Basically, not worth the price compared to other places have stayed at. We came from oudtshoorn where we had a very nice house with full up to date facilities and all the bells and whistles for half the price of pine lodge so the difference was striking. The chalet was situated in a dip overlooked by other chalets on one side and view blocked by unkempt Bush on the other. No view of the beach . Didn't use the main facilities. To have guests come and visit us for an hour was R70 per person entrance fee which is ridiculous!

Fantastic Stay

I was there for 1 night with my family in December 2018. The Pinle Lodge Resort is absolutely fantastic! All staff members are super friendly and making you feel like home. We enjoyed the stay to the fullest. The rooms are nice and cozy. Also we enjoyed a bonfire at our terrace. Definitely will come again and recommend to friends. Best regards

My boyfriend and I had a really great time here.. private, comfortable beds, the sheets were a bit disappointing and so it the flooring, it does need a bit of a refurb, but everything else was great.

Desilusão é a palavra que resume a minha experiência nesse hotel. Localização é boa, vistas (mar e reserva de mata) é interessante, mas as vantagens acabam por aí. Quartos (ou chalés) são mal cuidados, mal limpos (vide fotos de azulejos quebrados, mofo nos cantos, banheiros sujos ....), camas desconfortáveis e mal cheiroso são extremo. Não recomendo e não voltarei !!!

Das Lodge Resort ist sehr schön am Fluss gelegen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und "eingewiesen". Das Areal ist sehr schön angelegt und sehr gut für Kinder geeignet, da Spielplatz, Pool, Freifläche und ein "Kinderaufenthaltsraum" vorhanden sind. Außerdem ist es ringsherum gesichert - auch zum Fluss. Grillmöglichkeiten und einen kleinen Kiosk gibt es auch. Die Zimmer waren zweckmäßig eingerichtet, sauber und mit Klimaanlage ausgestattet. Im Zimmer gibt es zu dem einen Wasserkocher, eine Mikrowelle, einen Kühlschrank und einen TV. Zu bemängeln ist, dass die Unterkünfte (zumindest unsere) sehr hellhörig sind, was sich vor allem bemerkbar macht, wenn Personen im darüber liegenden Zimmer rumlaufen oder halt Kinder dort untergebracht sind. Über das Restaurant gibt es nicht Negatives zu berichten. Wir hatten mit Frühstück gebucht und da hat es uns an frischem Obst gefehlt. Ansonsten war alles in Buffetform vorhanden, wurde nachgefüllt und auch Sonderwünsche wurden umgehend erfüllt. Das freie W-LAN ist leider täglich begrenzt und nur im Bereich des Restaurants nutzbar. Freizeitangebote gibt es im Komplex reichlich - Tischtennisplatte, Fitnessraum (etwas herunter gekommen) und Ausleihe von sämtlichen Bällen kostenfrei; gegen Gebühr Billard. Angenehm empfanden wir auch den Wäscheservice (gegen Gebühr). Einen kleinen Negativpunkt gibt es noch: Wir hatten über Weihnachten gebucht und am 25.12. war das Restaurant ohne vorherige Information geschlossen.
