A well appointed home in a quiet central location

Avalon Cottage, situated in a quiet cul de sac, offers you the ideal couples retreat. This property has 2 Queens rooms with BIRs as well as an open plan kitchen, dining and living area. The laundry has both washer and dryer for your convenience and the entire house is well equipped for your stay away from home.

Located in the picturesque Moyne River precinct, it's only a block to all the restaurants, cafes and shopping that Port Fairy excels at. Enjoy your winter days exploring Port Fairy or take advantage of the fresh and exciting Winter Weekends.

In the summer, take a walk out the front door, over the foot bridge, and enjoy the fabulous East Beach. Hunt for seashells, laze in the sunshine or sit on the deck of Charlie's on East and watch the world go by.

Take your pick any time of the year; weekend farmer's markets, mid week art gallery browsing or an exquisite evening meal with friends at Conlan's wine bar. You are spoilt for choice on your doorstep.

Please note this property does not have a BBQ but there is a public one 5 minutes walk in the local park and playground.

Great location
Great location, nice and quiet. Very easy check in. Nice walk to the main street and restaurants. Enclosed court yard for the dogs. Comfortable, and had everything we needed.

Should have read specs. properly - who would expect the property would not have WiFi. Bed very comfortable, rooms spacious , handy having garage & access to inside. We had a safety concern that we have reported to the property manager Outside the back door leading to the garden is an old hot water service that protrudes into the walkway - we both managed to hit our heads on it. it should be removed. Great spot for young family
As mentioned by others this place is dated but was great for our young family (7week old and 2 year old) we had the best time- close to town and East Beach, bath, dvds, and cot made available for us by the agents! Highly recommend.

The accommodation was very good . The communication with the agent was flawless.The location was perfect allowing us to walk everywhere.

Disappointing
We were quite disappointed with this accommodation. There were quite a few issues with the property on arrival on Saturday so we got straight on to the agent on Monday and they sorted them out quite satisfactorily. However, it wasn't what we expected from the listing. I have major spinal and neck problems and was very happy with the chairs in the eating area on the photo. But on arrival the dining suite was nothing like what was on the listing. On notifying the agent they did bring me in a much more suitable chair but they shouldn't have had to. The carpets were very dirty and the curtains were a disaster. Far too long and dragged on the floor. The tops of them were all over the place and some of them wouldn't even open. The better bed was in the second bedroom without the walk in wardrobe so we were having to walk back and forwards to the main bedroom with the walk in wardrobe. There was a BBQ there without a gas bottle and were told that the BBQ shouldn't even have been there and a note on the frij requested us to clean the BBQ if we used it! The back yard was a mess and very overgrown when we arrived but again the agent was wonderful and organised a gardener to come out and clean it up. Not a good welcome! We paid good money for this stay and feel it just wasn't worth what we paid.
