“Loved the house!”

“TL;DR this place is great for families. The long version: my spouse and I, our 3 year old, and my mother booked a winter fossil hunting vacation and the house couldn’t have been better for us. There’s a primary bedroom with full bath on the main level and two bedrooms with a full bath on the lower level. This setup allowed us to have some space and my son to have plenty of room to run around and play. The house felt spacious for our group of 4. The kitchen is stocked with equipment and we cooked……

“We extremely enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful, kitchen was well equipped and the view was spectacular, especially with the Eagles that have nested on the 32 acre property. However was disappointed in the fact that the fire places were not in working conditions and rooms should have been number. We enjoy kayaking up and down the bay and taking it all in. I would definitely stay again.”

“I chose to stay at this property for the duration of my wedding weekend. It was really great to be able to spend that extra time with family all together! Getting ready at the house, rather than a hotel was also really nice because we had much more room to space out. The make up artist and hair stylist also complimented the ample natural light and space to work. The pool and hot tub were beautiful! The only downside was a lack of curtains in the master bedroom. The sunrise is beautiful but……

“I was looking for a nice, quiet, and relaxing, vacation. This property did not disappoint. The house was comfortable, cozy, well stocked, and so clean. The view is incredible. Just sitting outside watching the river was so "Zen". I had one of the most restful vacations ever. I was there for a little over two weeks and I would have stayed longer if I could have, Kim, the host, was very friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at this beautiful property again.”

“We were in town for a friends wedding. This was the perfect location as it was right in between the Catholic Church for the nuptial mass and the reception site. This place certainly did not disappoint. There was plenty of space for our large family, the home was well equipped and stocked with the necessary items. It was a relatively short stay, but I wish we had a bit more time and better weather to enjoy the use of kayaks - our one free morning was a bit chilly for us Florida folks, and we had……

“This house is great for large groups with plenty of comfortable bedrooms, three bathrooms (note one is only a tub, no shower), and loads of outdoor seating and fire options. This is an old farmhouse, so quirks of an old wooden house on the Eastern shore come with that. Personal bug spray at this property is essential as the mosquitos are very intense. The owner did stop by to give us a lawn spray for them but we did not use it as I am a master naturalist and community garden manager who is……

“The house was incredible. My husband loved the master shower! The kids enjoyed the beach and swimming. Our youngest son (39) paddled the creek in the kayak. Our oldest son was able to dock his boat. The house had so many amenities. The kitchen was well stocked. There were games and books for all ages. We hope this home is available whenever we go back to visit family. “It was clean and had everything we needed. We had a very comfortable stay. There are one or two steps between many of the rooms so keep that in mind.”

“The cabin itself was lovely with a southwestern feel. Very clean when we arrived and met our expectations. The outside space was the best! Even though it was a rainy weekend, we were able to take the kayaks out on the lake during a break in the rain. Unfortunately the weather prohibited us from visiting the beach but the property was close to Solomon's Island where there is plenty of shopping and dining. My only complaint was the mattress in the master bedroom. It felt wore out and we kind of……

The check in and checkout process was smooth, the property was clean and stocked with necessary amenities (toiletries/kitchen products/ beach chairs and umbrella), and communication with the host was stellar. “The house is a perfect retreat! I watched the sunrise from my bedroom and porch with my coffee each day of our stay. My parents live just 2 doors down. I have been coming to this neighborhood since the 70's. I still love hunting for fossils on the beach. Thank you for allowing us to book this spot!”
