“Great view”

“It was clean, and the property contacts were polite. The beds are a bit hard but better than nothing lol. The heat wasn’t working but it wasn’t too bad for us - we were given a space heater but I’m too nervous to use those overnight so we just used them while we were awake cause we happened to come during a curiously chilly rainy week. It is family friendly - the playground is a bit dated so my kids didn’t play on it cause they thought they would get slivers lol. The basketball net was well……

“Overall stay was good. Beds were nice, they have one room with 1 queen, second room with 2 twin beds and one sofa bed in the TV room. Speaking of the TV, the photos might be showing there is one but that's just for decoration as per the host. Water is not drinkable, so need to arrange it ourselves. There was vomit behind toilet seat in powder room when we checked in. Rest of the cabin was clean. The door for backyard deck did not have working locks nor did it have working grill.”

“The cottage was quite nice and in a good location. We enjoyed the stay overall. When we first arrived, the cottage was very cold. Once we figured out how to heat the place, it was quite cozy. For the owners, I recommend turning the heat up before someone is coming, or leave an instruction book detailing how to use the pellet stove to keep the cottage at a good temperature (including overnight instructions would be helpful too). “Ignatius was a super responsive host, the house was very clean, and the area was very convenient to go to Vetta spa. However, it was not worth the money we paid. The hot tub (why we picked the place) had green and dirty water, the bedrooms lack proper heating (baseboard heating that doesn’t work great, in some rooms), and everything inside and outside of the place needs quite a bit of TLC, including claw marks in some of the rooms, stained walls and ceilings, drywall cut outs in some of the……

“The location is perfect, peaceful with great views, close to downtown. The cottage has spacious rooms. The only drawback - cleanliness. The bathroom was not cleaned appropriately, with some leftovers and hair. No soap, shampoo or some other necessary stuff. Would say not good value for money. Pretty pricey for such conditions.”
