No exaggeration: this place is as good as it gets.The location is unbeatable. We were the very last house on St. Joe Beach, which made it feel incredibly private and peaceful. (On the first day, it was after 1pm when we had our first human interaction!) Still, you’re just a quick 5–8 minute drive into downtown Port St. Joe or Mexico Beach for food, shopping, and anything else you might need. It’s truly the perfect balance.The house itself exceeded our expectations. It’s much more spacious than the photos suggest, with plenty of room for multiple families to spread out comfortably. Whether you want quiet time or a little separation between kids and adults, the layout makes it easy.One of the biggest highlights was how well-stocked the house is. Every beach toy, chair, game, book, and accessory you could think of is already there. The outdoor bathroom was also a game changer, especially coming straight off the beach.Our host was responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. It honestly felt like talking to an old friend. They went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. By the end of the trip, I was sharing pics of the kids and their fishing/catches.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway. We never felt rushed or pressured to get somewhere… it’s hard to explain. But, this is the place you go for an *actual* vacation and to get some time away from this busy world.
