Beautiful home kids loved the location!
Many pros: Location on beach, with pool, added bonus Money bayou creates natural lagoon area between house and beach . Crabs& fish in lagoon kids loved catching & releasing them! Standup paddle boarding in lagoon some kayaks, so fun.Clean house, beautiful high ceilings , windows abound, Fully equipped kitchen, barbecue, plenty of appliances and place settings . Towels beach & bath in each bathroom/bedroom . Simply stunning & lovely decorated home.Campfire on beach the kids highlight! So many pros they lessened the challenges of the cons!Realtor office VERY-responsive & kind, spoke to them daily. Cons:1st night firealarms going off beginning at midnight, unable to reach to change batteries, ceilings-high Children scared, awake all night. Maintenance in to replace & check alarms straight away in morning. 2nd night -11 pm alarms going off and panel alarms, another no sleeping night - we did place a bar stool on a table to reach alarm and disconnect Following day maintenance and electricians in & out of house throughout day to fix.3rd night 2 am firealarms going Electricians in next day -disconnect one alarm . Left us a ladder for the night in case of reaccurance. 4th day Microwave stopped working no power to site at all Electrician scheduled to come out , waited and no show . -Elevator not completed, notified ahead of time not functioning -Some “brand new” appliances not assembled properly -loose handles etc-Beach gear not delivered until day 3 many calls
