Comfy Nook- 2Bed w/WiFi, 10 Minutes from Cascade Mountain

This freshly updated upper duplex unit is ready to impress! This apartment has two bedrooms and one bath. Located in downtown Portage, just 20 minutes from Wisconsin Dells and easy access to the interstate. Cascade mountain just a few minutes away. Lots of natural light and calming color palette will welcome you to relax. There is a driveway for off-street parking for two cars and more street parking available. Everything you need for a comfortable stay!



The apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the house. There is a private outside stairwell entrance and keypad door lock for access. The Airbnb space is cozy, clean and has many amenities. It features a Queen size bedroom, a Full size bedroom and a couch in the living room for sleeping areas. Other features: new appliances, smart TVs with Netflix, WIFI and bright sunny dining area.

*Please note- This apartment is older construction and is on the 2nd floor. The lower apartment may have guests as well...these lovely old floors are squeaky and the noise will carry to the lower unit. Each apartment asks for quiet time at 10:00pm.



Guests can access the Airbnb space through a private outside stairwell with a Smart Lock Deadbolt. A short walk to Neil's Wine Bar, close to restaurants, movie theatre, the Levee walk along the Wisconsin River and WWII museum. Also a 10 minute walk to a skate park and splash pad

Cozy pineapple

The house was very old but very nicely updated. The bed and couch were comfortable. My only complaint was the shower head had no pressure. The water was nice and hot though! We had an issue with the tv but the hosts were quick to fix it (previous guest had deleted several apps off of the tv). Very homey. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location

The location was centrally located for us to all the family and outdoor things we wanted to do. We found everything we needed in the apartment, If you are planning to rent, be sure you understand that there is a long flight of stairs to get to the apartment. We'd come again if we are in Portage again.

We came to the Dells area for Labor Day weekend. We wanted to hike at Devil’s Lake and do a few things in the Dells. This location is about 25 minutes from both, which was great. We loved this quaint quiet town and were thankful not to be staying in the hustle and bustle of the crowded Dells.. There are lots of places to eat close by. We enjoyed the Red Apple Restaurant for great breakfasts and went to Tamarack’s Pizza a couple of times. We loved everything we ordered. Two Rivers Coffee was a daily stop as well! This place was clean and spacious and had everything we needed! We had a little problem with our door code not working when we arrived, but the owner took care of the issue immediately. We loved this property and definitely hope to return in the future.

Good, short stay

We stayed for a couple of nights before my husband ran the local marathon (and thankfully coordinated a ride with one of the owners so he could make it to the race in the early morning hours!). The place worked out very well for our needs, and we also enjoyed the family-friendly beach in town. We would come back and stay again.

Great getaway

We stayed here on an anniversary getaway. Loved it! Super well maintained, friendly and homey. Lots of little touches, like coffee/tea basket, etc. Felt very thought-out and not like an after-thought rental like some we've stayed at. There's not a lot to do in Portage itself, but it was an easy drive to Devil's Lake State Park and Mirror Lake State Park for hiking which was what we were planning on anyway. Apartment was perfect for the two of us. The kitchen counter space is tight if you're making all your meals like we did, but it's manageable. Would definitely stay here again.
