“Our kids had a fantastic time enjoying the pool, and they especially loved having their own spacious beds. The hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating! The kitchen is quite minimal, so we recommend bringing disposable plates and utensils if you plan to cook or eat in. While this isn’t a luxury property, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge after long days spent at the lake and dunes. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our family!”

“The upstairs gets really hot even with the portable/c unit provided 2nd tv room not very useful due to heat. Some items in description not available like personal toiletries left as notes and no travel high chair. Also no gazebo. But a plus is they have beach toys to use and the backyard is huge. Kitchen stocked to cook. The host is also great with communication. Location is PERFECT. Neighborhood is safe and quiet”

“We loved the proximity to the beach, although there was no view. Beautiful, fairly private beach. Bathroom is under renovation so a curtain took the place of a wall. Some will enjoy the pinball machine and PlayStation, but it takes up useable space in a crowded room. It would have suited us to have had comfortable seating to sit together and watch TV, and a bed out from the wall with access to both sides.”

“This was the perfect stay for my mom, myself, and two young children. It was very clean, nicely decorated , and still smells new. The dome is very cute, and the hot tub was awesome as well. Very quiet. Great shower. We wish we would have had more time to explore Valparaiso, but this made for an easy day trip into Chicago via the South Shore Line. Host is very friendly and quick to answer questions - no issues, just a few inquiries. Definitely take a look at the host's guidebook. We used her……
