“I hate to say this because I really did enjoy the room, the service, the casino and all. But the pool was closed during our stay, which was entirely the reason we chose this hotel over another. It was too late to make other accommodations by the time we checked in, and it was only made clear to us at the service desk that the pool was out of commission. I know it's not a huge thing, but again, it's the entire reason we hinged out stay on this location and it feels like a bait and switch to show……

“The room was “clean” but very dated. The hallways were very dirty (stained carpets). Supposedly part of this place has been redone/updated but I definitely was not located there. Based on my room I’d request an updated room or not stay there again. Uses real keys vs keycards which is ok but easier to lose.”

“Lovely place to stay and have dinner. Wish there was a hot tub to enjoy.”

“We requested and stayed in a handicap accessible room. Many of the features were fine. However, the lighting needs to be updated. There should be NIGHT LIGHTS in the bathroom and the main room. We brought one on our own, and unfortunately forgot to take it home with us. But the hotel needs to figure out a solution for people seeing their way to the bathroom during the night, without turning on strong lights (which wake a person up). And then is the bathroom, to find a person's way about without……

“The hotel was clean and offered a good breakfast, and the price was good. The room did have an odor, maybe just an old building smell, but we got used to it after a while. Overall, I would probably stay there again because the location and value made it worthwhile.”

“The breakfast was ample, with plenty of hot and cold options. The pool was fine, and the sauna was an added benefit. I wasn't expecting to do birdwatching from the motel, but it is on a small lake, and there were egrets and lots of other birds very nearby. The shower was easily accessible (my husband uses a wheelchair).”
