It really is a good value. We came in for a memorial for the weekend… the lady that checked us in was very friendly and professional. The room was small but clean. The mattress was comfortable and not lumpy. The only thing is some of the outlets didn’t work and the fridge was out, but overall we were glad we stayed here.Some of the places around wanted about double what we payed for two nights at Americas best Inn and suites but we had everything thing that we needed so I would say it’s a good deal. I Would definitely recommend Americas Best to anyone that needs a quiet place to stay for a night or two while visiting Porterville.

We went to a concert at the casino down the road and the price was good, very quiet and felt safe. Room we got was a double bed so the room was small, but for the price it was just fine. Staff was very nice. Bathroom, shower was updated and nice. Will stay again.

Arrived at our booking to be told that they had run out of fold out beds and they expected a group of 3 adults to share one bed for 6 nights. They kept insisting the room was suitable was 4 people in one king bed. No solutions offered apart from being told to pay double for a second room or check out. It was late and we had been travelling for over 30 hours. Tried other hotels in the area but all booked out. Once an unpleasant review was mentioned they did decide they could swap our room to one with 2 beds however there was an upcharge. Furniture (couch especially) in the room was disgustingly dirty and one of the pillows had mould coming through. We brought fresh pillows in Walmart and used for our trip. Towels were no longer white and housekeeping hit and miss. Did not mention the dirtiness to staff after their lack of interest from the beginning. Will never stay there again.

Overall, a pretty comfortable room with a pretty large shower. The bathroom door did not close easily and the door to the room was a bit fiddly. I also cannot recommend the in-room coffee for great flavor. There was some ambient noise from other rooms.

The bed was so uncomfortable and small. Pillows were so small and uncomfortable. Towels were small and scratchy. The conditioner tube didn’t have enough go condituon my hair and the shower curtain was very dirty. It was cheap and in a decent location and clean otherwise.
