“J'ai adoré ma semaine à Grandrieux au Vert Bocage! La maison est belle, joliment décoré, refaite à neuf très récemment, tout a été propre, neuf et confortable! C'est une grande maison spacieuse, idéale pour les grandes familles Le jardin est grand, la cuisine est très bien équipée, le salon est accueillant avec une cheminée, le jardin est grand... J'ai apprécié qu'on pouvait arriver dès 16h et repartir avant 11h, c'est donc plus souple que mes autres locations (10h et 17h en général). Le village……

“Very welcoming and set in the historic center -or very close. Large, comfortable room, multi-lingual receptionist and excellent breakfast, much of which is home made/home grown, including the jams. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on this particular evening, but if breakfast was anything to go by I expect a dinner there would be equally delicious. (There were other restaurants in easy walking distance.) I look forward to staying there again.”

“Convenient stopover stay travelling down to Southern Europe. Friendly staff and v reasonable price. Restaurants nearby and Laon old town is worth looking around although up 200+ steps.”

“The room were clean but the bedding felt a little dirty. It was very noisy and we had to ask the neighbors to stay quiet past 11pm. The car park had a random van with black curtains parked in the corner of the car park. The beds were not as comfortable. ”

“Location and parking was good. Receptionist was grumpy. Room has see better days. The window could not be locked, there was no air conditioning and room needed redecorating. No English speaking channel on TV. Breakfast from 7 am. No cooked breakfast eg scrambled eggs,bacon. Bar was at property but not serving drinks. I requested ice cubes for water drinks but not available. At best it was basic.”

“Easy parking, fuss-free check-in and check-out (officially check-out is at 10.00 but breakfast finishes at 11.00.) lovely building with a garden courtyard. Very good dinner and breakfast. The room was comfortable, and the proprietor charming and amusing.”
