Great spot to stay when exploring Portland

Comfortable, well appointed cottage perfect for 1-2 people. Plenty of great places to eat in the area. Would definitely stay there again.

Cozy and Quiet

This lovely spot was perfect for my trip to Portland. It was not only a perfect location, but was a lovely little spot to return to when I needed a break from the weather or a rest from a busy day. The host was nothing but friendly and accommodating but also provided a quiet safe haven that I always felt welcome at. It was a perfect little get away.

Just What I Needed!

I traveled to Portland from Seattle for a weekend work event and was so pleased with my stay at the Eco House! Very comfortable, clean, well stocked, great location… it was everything I need and then some! And Scott was incredibly helpful and communicative without being overbearing. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Sweet little place in Portland.

I loved my stay at the Eco Cottage in Portland! The host Scott was easy to communicate with and pictures attached to a check in are always a bonus. The place itself was just perfect, on a quiet street, just adorable inside and out with a nice patio area out front. I had everything I needed and the host even offered to supply more items mid stay if needed. All in all just delightful.

Lovely quick trip

Had an overnight in Portland to see some friends, this was an easy stop in a great location (central to some great food and things to do, easy to get to). My travel buddy couldn't make it but I felt safe by myself; would've been totally fine and comfortable with another person even in the small space. Scott gave lots of detailed instructions and was super communicative. Added bonus: it rained overnight and it sounded lovely on the roof!

This was my third stay. I love the Ecohouse!

I keep coming back to stay in the Patio Cottage. I just love it here. I have everything I need, it's on a quiet street right near Alberta, and Scott is an amazing host. If you have questions about the area, he has the answers. The property is beautiful. I love hanging out on the patio with my coffee when I wake up. Thanks so much, Scott. You know I'll be back!

Great neighborhood and great house

I was traveling solo and loved this place. Was a safe neighborhood and easily walkable to a few different neighborhoods. Cleanliness is key for me. The house was very clean and extremely well appointed. Every detail was thought out! I felt right at home. Scott was welcoming, helpful and very responsive. I can’t say enough good things. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Portland!

FELT LIKE LOCALS

The cottage was absolutely perfect for the two of us! And the location was phenomenal. Loved that we could walk to bars, breweries, restaurants and cute little retail shops. There was even a Natural Grocers around the corner. It was everything we needed. The neighborhood was inviting and so quiet at night. The space itself was vibrant, clean, and well-appointed. Scott, the owner, was incredibly attentive and super helpful. We felt welcomed and comfortable and will definitely be planning a return trip.

Wonderful cozy cottage

This cottage is very cute. Everything worked perfectly and was just as expected. The description and details were very accurate. Two of us stayed here and it was just what we wanted.Yes, the bathroom is tiny but we knew that already, as explained in the description, and it is very well organized. The shower is FABULOUS and not too small at all.We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Scott!

Cozy, Clean, and Cute!

We are repeat customers. We love it here! Now that the weather is warmer we are enjoying the lovely stone patio! The cottage is so well appointed, and has a full sized refrigerator and good kitchen. There is a curtain between the bed part and the living room to block out light or the sun. Appreciate all the effort to do things ecologically.

Lovely cottage in one of Portland's most vibrant neighborhoods

Clean, quiet, well-appointed rooms, with everything one could need. Very comfortable bed! The outdoor spaces are a nice bonus. Walking distance to a wide variety of coffee shops, restaurants and entertainment. The host, Scott, is available, great to talk with and knows everything about the area, including good ideas for hiking and biking. Highly recommend!

Amazing, as always!

I've been staying at the EcoHouse, in the Patio Cottage, whenever I visit Portland. I love it! Scott is the best host and goes out of his way to make my stay so nice. I've been visiting Portland for years and have stayed in hotels, but when my son got married and moved to the Alberta Street area, I found the Portland EcoHouse. I won't stay anywhere else now! Looking for somewhere to eat? Ask Scott. Want something fun to do? Ask Scott. He's very knowledgeable about the areas and is a wealth of information. I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Best Portland Experience

Wonderful Experience!

The portland Eco house Patio cottage was the perfect stay! I booked for its proximity to my daughter’s new house and was so glad I did! It is a charming and thoughtfully appointed cottage in a very walkable and neighborly neighborhood with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. I was a little sad it wasn’t summer so we could take full advantage of the cute outdoor area, but next time for sure. Scott is also a gracious and accommodating host who made sure we had everything we needed to have the best stay. I am now going to have to purchase one of the same mattresses, since my partner couldn’t stop raving about how well he slept. I know we will be back to enjoy it all again. Highly recommend.

Easy living

Great cozy cottage with all the amenities one needs. Traveling as a single woman I felt safe and I was happy to end my day in the this clean and easy cottage. Nice neighborhood for walks and Scott was an attentive caring host. I will definitely return on my next trip to Portland.
