The hotel was boarded up and security raised an alarm and made us leave the property. This was no longer a hotel. According to the general manager of the My Place hotel, the extended stay had been shut down for over two years. It was outrageous that it is still an option on the travel web sites.

The stay at this hotel was incredible. The room was exceptionally clean, which was surprising given the affordable price. I’ll definitely choose this hotel if I visit Portland again. This experience has made me a fan of Extended America Hotels.

The manager at this property has to be the most nicest, understanding and supportive person I've ever seen. The way she interacted with the guests and her staff was amazing. Her staff are more like family as well as the guests. I would stay here again just to talk to her again.

The staff graciously gave me a room upgrade to a 2 bed, but put me directly under a loud family of five. And considering that people live here full time, the residents were quite unsettling.

This property and staff makes you feel like you are home in the way they treat the guests. Christina the manager treats everyone just how she wants to be treated. She listens to your concerns and addresses them. She runs a small but very hardworking crew of dedicated and just as caring as their manager is. Our entire stay was amazing and when we had to leave and stay at another hotel we left and went right back to this property. And we were greeted with warmth.

the room wasn’t in great condition, and for a six day stay they never cleaned the room while we were out. no new towels, no emptying trash… the one who checked us in was helpful, the two older ladies were odd and not helpful. the surrounding guest didn’t make the property feel safe either. breakfast barely counted as breakfast.

Definitely not the first place to go when on a trip with family. Lot of people, probably homeless, grouped at the parking dustbins and smoking. Room had a very bad odor, which never went away. Felt very shady and unsafe to walk out after dark. First time staying at extended stay and was very disappointed with it. Not a good experience, though the front desk lady was very sweet.

The room was nice and big and the kitchen was ok for cooking, but it lacked an exhaust. Breakfast to go left much to be desired. However, the amenities for self catering was sufficient. One really big downside was that the halls smelled of marijuana. But that is Oregon.
