Amazing setting and views however let down by the variety of the evening menu there wasnt even a roast choice plus no daily specials which is dissapointing if you stay a few days, limited seating in the bar to eat no other restaurant open so if you dont book then even as a resident you wont get a evening meal. its quite a walk/drive to the town to find somewhere else. However breakfast in the morning outstanding plus the staff couldnt do enough for you.

Found end of rainbow !

From entering hotel we were very impressed We were there over new year ,and for hubbies birthday . From front desk staff , dinning , bar staff and even cleaning staff we were very impressed with their efficiency and how pleasant and welcoming they were. They all seemed to enjoy their work and this seemed very obvious . The whole team are a credit to the management . We attended the gala dinner ,it was an amazing well coordinated experience . The food was amazing ,from breakfast to bar snacks . It is not often that you get a lovely hotel and great food but this up there ! We spent a whole day at the spa which was a memorable experience and we both thoroughly enjoyed . We had a bar snack afterwards as we were so relaxed , thanks to may ! and we cant forget isobel who is a star and found and returned my lost phone plus was a great likeable character who explained the regime to us . All in all , im nearly scared to give raving review that the hotel totally deserves , as this might lead to us not being able to get a booking again with being so busy . No negative feedback from us and look forward to returning in spring

Great place to base yourself if holidaying/visiting in the Dunfanaghy or surrounding area in Donegal. Superb location & outstanding views of the sea. Good food & excellent staff. Thoroughly recommend.

Fantastic hotel in Donegal

This is a superb country hotel in a lovely area of Donegal. Our twin, ocean facing rooms were spacious, very comfortable and had fantastic views. My Mum, brother and I loved them. The dinner menu in the bar was varied and we enjoyed all our choices. Mum had an afternoon in the spa and had a great experience. The staff were very pleasant and helpful throughout our 5 night stay. This felt like a luxury experience. We enjoyed very much and fully intend to return for a future visit. I have recommended the hotel to friends.

I was disappointed with stay. Room was only set up for two people and we were a psrty of three, tv didnt work. Booked for dinner and we were told there was no table. Had to wait Miro was very helpful. Dining experience was a shambles.

Excellent hotel. Lovely big window with stunning view of sea and mountains. Spa facilities outstanding. Great food, lovely welcoming staff. Could imagine how great it would be with live music & a bar in non Covid times but really enjoyed our stay but hotel is amazing.
