Please note that a mandatory touristic tax will be included in the final price. If it has not been charged at the moment of your reservation, it must be paid in cash at the check-in.

This was our 2nd stay at this property. We intend to be back, again and again. The location is perfect, the view is magical, and you can open your window to hear the music and sounds of Porto. We actually bought a photograph at the mercado because it included our place in the photo. The interior is basic, the shower is small, but you have everything you need. It was a surprisingly chilly night, but a quick call to mgt and we found the few space heaters that we needed. Cant wait to be back.

We got this listing with VRBO and communiated by VRBOs ‘contact host’ as normal. The day before we arrived we only got automated replies from the host saying phone the hosts number. We didn’t have phone coverage so asked VRBO to please contact them to confirm a checkin question. VRBO informed us this is a third party booking so they couldn’t or wouldn’t call. This messed up our checkin a lot. Anyway you are on your own if there are problems with this listing. I would suggest stay elsewhere.

River view worth it ?????

Let me start by saying the location and view were everything we were hoping for, after that not so much. ‘Feels like home’ didn’t feel very much like home. From the process of check-in (the host makes you drive to a different part of the city, pay for parking in a garage, a go to 3rd floor of an office building), to using the 2nd smallest shower I have ever used (not even room enough to put a small shelf for soap or razor). There was, also, an unpleasant Oder coming from a couple of places in the apartment. Overall, still don’t know if the location/view was worth it.

Location, location, music, magic, location!

We can NOT wait to come back and we hope to stay in this apartment again. We were actually staying in another rental in Lisbon for the week and decided to train to Porto for a few days. I am soooo glad we did. I did not love that we had to go to the office downstown for the keys. We had troble getting an uber. Then the traffic made the drive longer than the walk. Then the address was confusing and we were dropped far from the apartment. BUT...once we finally found it, we wanted to move in. It is a small l, modest space with a tiny bathroom. But, once you open the french doors to the julliet balcony and breathe in the music, view and porto air, everything is wonderful! You can walk to everything. The bedroom is in the back, protected from the noise. We loved chillin on the couch, watching the boats and hearing the music. Definately walk over the top of the vridge to the lookout point and listen to music up there as well. Definately climb the hill into town. We will be staying longer next time. I will say that, in our experience, the restaurants in town were better than those along the river. Just wander, there is so much to enjoy and doscover and tjis apartment is the perfect home base!

Great Location - poor directions

Loved the location but to get to property better/some directions needed. Taxi's cant get to be near property which obviously we wouldnt_coulsnt know therefore good directions would have helped instead of nothing but the address. Which in the dark up above a row of shops would have been helpful as to how to get in? There was only 1x cup for a drink? Weird! Just one! The benefit of the FABULOUS location was to sit and view the viewand lication - husel and bussel around us! Sharing one coffee cup! The apt was clean, badic kitchen equipment. We had issues with the kitchen sink as black.lumps kept floating up! Water wouldnt go down even with no plug in the hole! Nothing moved - it just sat there. Then it was wet from this issuenear our feet. Aware it wasnt the management/key company Feelslike home who were great at communicating but were unable to do anything during our short stay - 2 days. Sadly, not did any cuos/mugs arrive. A few coffee/tea sachets would have been pleasant but nothing in the apartment- and only 1x cup so probably a good thing!

In the middle of the action

The apartment in Porto Ribiera was very clean and right on the waterfront. It’s also right in the middle of much goings-on at night. Multiple music groups, people partying and general noise making. It worked ok for us given that we were there only two days, but a longer stay would have been difficult. Also, we thought the sofa bed was going to have linens provided and there weren’t any. Apparently the place was advertised as having one bed, but not a sofa bed. I don’t remember that; we were disappointed to not get the extra sheets requested. The management company was very responsive which was very important since we had questions. I would rate this location 3.5 stars if I could.

Great condo by the water

Great place and location. Only problems is that during July and August, to many peoples on the peers and very noisy until the night. Also since no AC, need to keep window open making it worst. Best location to access all water activities and wine caves. Check in was not easynsince needed to get the keys downtown. But communication was exceptionally and well detailed. Would return but not during summer months.

Busy Busy!

This property is located right on the promenade of the river - right above restaurants and vitality! If you're looking to be in the thick of it - this place is for you! If not - keep looking! My only two complaints would be the kitchen was not very stocked (ie: had only one coffee cup) and the toilet had an issue flushing - otherwise - for a cute little flat - was perfect!

Great location!

We loved our stay at this property. The location is amazing, comfortable and right in the heart of everything. We do wish there were more things to make it feel like “home”. It was missing paper towels, kitchen towels, a fan for in the bedroom and we didn’t love the check in process (the person checking us in was very insightful and helpful with navigating how to get to the property!) That being said, we would book this property again if we were coming back to Porto.

Nothing short of stunning!

If you’re looking for a beautiful view of one of the most romantic cities on earth, this was a perfect getaway for 2! So thankful for such a wonderful experience!
