The rooms are spacious and clean. The unique stone wall is astonishing. The river view is exquisite. If you stay for the New Year, no need to go downstairs and the fireworks across the river is right at your balcony.

The property was in an fantastic location. It was quit large and had an amazing view. But beyond this it was missing so many basic essentials. Things such as No Coffee maker (says it has one) Only 2 towels and 1dish cloth. No other linnens The bed sheet didnt fit the bed. No paper towels or napkins Knives were so dull couldnt use. Toaster was broken and a fire hazard. Now these are thing I feel are an "easy fix" for the owner. But it really felt like no attention has been put in here for years. It has the potential to be a top spot too. But for where it is, their are much better places near by that will make you more comfortable.

The apartment was centrally located off of the pier. It was large and spacious. It only had one restroom, I wish it had two. We stayed for a total of three nights, however, there was no type of Room service, meaning it would’ve been nice to have some new towels after the second day. We used the same towels, for three nights. There was three of us and they provided exactly 3 towels only. The apartment had a great view of the water and overlooking across to the Gaia district. It was conveniently walkable to pretty much everything. There is no lift/elevator Coming up and down four flights of stairs is a lot. If you have any type of mobility issues, this is not the place for you.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The location is perfect for the river and we enjoyed the amazing view. This is a very old building, restored and has a lot of character - so very unique. Communication with staff and check-in instructions were clear. However, our requests for towel change got ignored repeatedly, sadly. We did find a large bag of clean towels in the hallway though… Property was reasonably clean. We would recommend this location for it’s uniqueness.

On y dort mais pas plus.

Le point positif est l’emplacement hyper central et pratique pour visiter Porto et la vue dégagée sur le Douro. Appartement propre mais aménagé de bric et de broc sans aucune âme. Pas de rideau dans la chambre avec vue directe sur les voisins Immeuble ancien donc aucune isolation phonique. Parquet propre mais tellement bruyant pour les locataires déjà je crains pour les voisins. Une vraie table basse serait appréciable tout comme une machine à expresso. Heureusement qu’il faisait beau pendant le séjour pour ne pas avoir à rester enfermé.

Situación excepcional, todo muy cerca y en el centro con perfectas vistas, apartamento muy bonito y acogedor. Por ponerle algo a mejorar seria que eche de menos una escoba y recogedor y un radiador eléctrico no funcionaba. Super recomendable, repetiría.

The apartment was fantastic. The location was epic, with fantastic views of the Duoro River. Was easy check-in too. Only suggestion is to get some throw pillows to provide protection as the couch arm is very hard.

Fantastic view, but that's where it ends.

If you like a rustic style where maintenance is lacking, this might be the place for you. The first impression with a loose door handle immediately gave the impression of poor maintenance, and this matches well with the rest that greets you when you enter. The walls should have been painted; there are many stains, especially in the living room, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. In the bedroom, masking tape hangs down from the ceiling lamp, but it hasn't been painted in a long time; the tape is yellowed and old, which looks ugly. The kitchen has an unevenness with a loose cover over a hole in the floor, covered by a carpet, but be careful not to hurt your foot and trip or slip. The bathroom lacks maintenance; the shelf by the sink is loose, and the lighting is very dim. From the living room, there was a fantastic view of the river, and the location for tourist activities couldn't be better, but the glass door to the river is mechanically worn and needs maintenance as it is very hard to open. At night, you will be disturbed by a lot of noise from the boats idling at relatively high revs. This noise continued all night, making it impossible to sleep. One of our nights, we moved to The Editory House Ribeira Porto Hotel, a few blocks away. Here we could sleep without noise; we would probably have chosen this for the entire stay, as even the view cannot compensate for the inconvenience of the noise at night.
