We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were very warm, friendly and helpful. The property has been beautifully remodeled and the room was spacious with a wonderful en suite. Breakfast was delightful and the location was great! If you stay here, we HIGHLY recommend the restaurant Crivelli Restaurante Italiano. It is a total gem with delicious Italian cuisine created by Sergio Crivelli, the chef himself!

Matosinhos crash pad

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, extremely well located, near great restaurants and the beach. The property is simply stunning. However, THE NOISE! Paper thin walls that damper nothing between floors or rooms. Unfortunate since the place is incredibly beautiful.

I highly recommend this hotel, the staff is very helpful and friendly. The beds and pillows were the best I’ve had in Europe so far. Everything is very clean and modern and the breakfast was amazing!!

It is a charming older building with modern amenities. Our room had polished granite floors, with large windows facing the street, but the shutters afforded us a dark comfortable sleep during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.

This area outside of Porto is the best of both worlds. The hotel itself was impeccable. Clean, spacious and exactly as pictured. Some people mentioned the noise of the trams but it really was fine—you can hear a soft rumble but no wheels screeching or horns. Would happily stay again

Outstanding week at Ocean Porto! Very charming boutique hotel with all the amenities one would want and an extremely warm and helpful staff. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! The shower was second to none, and a luxury after a day scaling Porto's hilly terrain.

This property is a little gem. Direct transport into Porto and very straight forward. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble when we needed advice on how to get around. Ivo was often present very professional & kind. Even booked our trains to Lisbon and assisted us in being able to pay in cash as they used the hotels account which was a massive help. Throughout our stay Fatima was present cleaned our room doing breakfast providing anything we needed. Beautiful kind person. Has a beautiful well maintained garden area with a plunge pool & jacuzzi was so peaceful and lovely to relax in have breakfast outside or a glass of wine later on. We have no complaints or downsides whatsoever.

It is a very nice little hotel. If you want to leave the hustle and bustle of Porto behind and breathe the sea air in the evening, watch the surfers and eat good fish, this is the place for you. The breakfast is high quality, the facilities as well and the staff is very nice. The hotel is easy to get to from Porto by both bus and metro. We would choose it again any time, because you don't often find something like this.
