“Honestly, after reading some of these reviews I was scared to stay here. I can assure you dont listen to them. It was the best experience. The room was great, I got lucky and got a room on the 10th floor for myself and the sea views are spectacular. The staff are great and help where they can. Bar in the lobby and they tend to you and make you feel comfortable if youre drinking there. “The hotel room was great. The reception staff was also very helpful & shockingly, she spoke perfect English. The rest of the country either refuses to speak English or cant. Whilst the hotel service was great, the neighbourhood is extremely sketchy. I didnt feel safe and would not venture out alone in broad daylight beyond the front porch of the hotel. The only reason to book this hotel is its close proximity to the Sambadrome. ”
